Hi,
Back from POFQ 12/4th-8th. Arrived and in line around 2:30pm and told our room in building #1 was not ready yet. CM checked our old hoppers and we were surprised to see 2 of them each had one day left. So we left baggage with bell hops and went to Sassagoula to eat. Had a flashback of past trip to POFQ when I saw the "big faces" in Sassagoula. Called just after eating and our room on 2nd floor, building 1, parking lot view (fine with us) was ready. The room was slightly larger than the one we had at CBR...but only slightly. Everyone's reports of the resort being small enough to walk to the center are very accurate. 1 is the farthest building, I believe, and it wasn't far at all!

Went to MK that first night and found out our passes did not have those surprise days on them. I have no idea why the CM told us they did. I would have complained but my mom didn't care to so we used our 4 day park hoppers instead. We were only at MK for 2.5 hrs but rode a good 5 or 6 rides and left just b/c we were tired from traveling.

Spend next bunch of days at all parks and attending MVMCP. Even though we spent 2 weekend days at the park, it was very empty! The longest line was Peter Pan (30mins) but it cleared out b/c it appears as though the crowds follow a trend. For example, the chunk of the crowd is in Fantasyland and then they move over to Tomorrowland, etc. Just used common sense and went to the land less crowded (if one even can call it "crowded").

The last 2 days of the trip, the Junior High School cheerleaders and football players began to arrive. The kids themselves were all well-behaved but the drunk parents are a real disgrace. We were riding the boat from Riverside to French Quarter when 2 fathers of the football players were drunk, making rude comments, and just made a pathetic site to see on the boat. We got off the boat and the boat-steerer/sailor (what's their official name???) rolled his eyes and said, "It's football season...these fathers can be awful.

While on the boat, 2 of the young teenagers (around 13 y/o) were talking about their dads. One boy said, "I hate when my Dad gets like this." And his bud goes, "Yeah. He's drunk." I felt so bad for the boys...they're parents were just embarrassing. (The fathers aren't the only problems: the moms were drinking too and laughing at everything the fathers did). This didn't ruin the trip for me, but it's just so sad to see what kind of morons are raising kids. If people want to drink, fine, do it...just don't have children and mess up their lives. Sorry if I'm getting a little carried away here. It's just the looks on these young teens' faces said it all.

The weather was in the 80s! So beautiful...never rained. The Xmas decorations were up at the resorts, parks, etc. My family didn't have an PS or eat at any restaurants like we have in the past.

That's about I can think of right now. :D
