Depending on what's going on, maybe I can find someone to run me an errand to one of the shops and bring me back a bottle of Cherry Marnier...I've been dying to try it, but didn't pick it up way back when on our Honeymoon, and it turned out it wasn't generally available in the U.S.

Yes, me too. I've told everyone that asked that Nassau is no big deal. My DD wanted her passport stamped and wanted to purchase a bottle of rum, so we did that, looked around a little and headed back to the ship.

I hear ya...I listened to a couple of Dis Podcasts today, including the one that I attened on PCC 2.0....that keeps me excited

LOVE those Dis Podcasts. Never listened to any related to a cruise tho - because I never thought in a million years that I'd ever be sailing on one! Happened to be listening to one when Pete & the gang were talking about PCC 2.0 - and how PCC 3.0 would soon be sold out - and I jumped on it! My husband thought I was nuts! We've never even considered a cruise before - I guess we thought they weren't our style. Now, I'm (we're) hooked! Will be sailing for the first time on PCC 3.0 in June, 2012. Now I can't get enough info about the Dream! We even ordered the video from Disney - can't get enough of that either....
In fact, we got so hyped about it that we tried to get an additional 2 rooms for our children (had already booked our 2 grandchildren in the room with us). Unfortunately - PCC 3.0 was sold out by that time. So of course, we went right ahead and booked 2 more rooms thru DCL - and hopefully will be able to add them to PCC 3.0 - if there are any cancellations. (Not that we hope anyone has to cancel.) Our rooms are in close proximity and I'm pretty sure we'll be able to link our dining reservations, etc.
Just enjoying reading everything I can about our upcoming cruise and trying to glean hints here and there...

BTW - when I mentioned to my DGD this afternoon that I was going to make her a Pirate Costume for the cruise, she said "I know - you already told me that plenty of times!" Guess I should concentrate on some other interests, eh?!? LOL!

Angie, we can start talking among ourselves now...oh, and Friday nights are cruise Chat night...we could try to meet up there also. I'm on FB a lot, if you want to connect there, send me a PM

I can probably make the cruise chat some times (if I remember) - the timing of chat doesn't usually work too well for me as its the middle of the afternoon but I do manage sometimes depending on what work I have lined up - Friday night chat is our Saturday afternoon so I just need to remember (which is the hard bit).

I also live on FB and welcome more Dis friends - just search for me using my Dis name with a space in the middle. Just put in the note that you are from the Dis.

so guys I have a dilema...but its a nice one to have So we have the 5 night cruise but it total we will be staying for 14 nights so its how we do it.
My thoughts are 6 nights before poss at AKL then the cruise and then top it off with 3 nights at the Boardwalk. The first 6 nights we will have a car and then the last 3 days we wouldnt bother. The issue would be its quite soon to 4th July - how busy does it get around that time?

I can't offer any advice other than know its going to be busy and hot - but we are also having an extended stay in the US of about 4 weeks - its the middle of our winter so we will try to stay as long as possible

Good Afternoon Fellow Cruisers....been a busy day at work, this is the first chance I've had to check the boards.

Hope you all had a great weekend...mine was sorta laid back...had my DGD over one night..that was nice and I get her again this weekend...trying to think of some fun stuff to do....she mentioned wanting to watch some Disney movies...sounds like a plan to me.
