Podcast Cruise 3.0 - 06/24/2012

I heard that loud and clear, Cherinva!:rotfl:
You don't mince words, do you?
Looking forward to meeting you in person on PCC3.0!
Anchors Aweigh!

LOL...no I don't...PCC 2.0 was so much fun and I can't wait to hear what the DIS Team has in store for us on 3.0. I was told by Pete one day, that if I liked this cruise (2.0) then I don't want to miss the next one, and I should re-book while on board...then on Castaway Cay, Kevin and my daughter tag teamed me...one on each side about re-booking...so I finally did...and I'm glad...now I get to go on another cruise and meet more new people...I look forward to meeting you also.

Have a great day everyone !!!

Can't wait!

Just tried to email Tracey (DU travel agent for the Dream) and got an automated response that she's out of the office for the next week. Going to WDW then on to the Dream!!!

Looking forward to hearing all about it...

I cant wait for the posting to start, I need to get to know people. This will be our first ever cruise and our first ever vacation alone and together:scared1: Kids have grown and its our fun time now.

talk soon folks

Angie

My 13 year old would like to start up a teen thread devoted to PCC 3.0, think she should do that on the teen forum or in the cruise forum? She just feels it would be a good way for the kids to get to know eachother before the cruise. Any suggestions?

One girl tried that for 2.0, but it didn't go to far....she did connect with my DGD and they kept in touch via facebook and had a great time together on the cruise..once we got them to the Teen Club, we hardly saw them except for dinner...:rotf

Your daughter could try either forums and see where it goes. Let me know and I'll try to get my DGD over there.

BTW, my DGD and the other girl will be 15 at the time of the cruise

Angie, we can start talking among ourselves now...oh, and Friday nights are cruise Chat night...we could try to meet up there also. I'm on FB a lot, if you want to connect there, send me a PM

Yeaa, mine will be 15 also. She was with us the last cruise, I'm hoping to ditch her this next time.

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers !!!! Cold start the day here, but is suppose to warm up to 50 this afternoon. Here's wishing you all a great weekend....and 1 week closer to PCC 3.0.

I love that you're keeping this thread going!!! It makes me smile to see the posts here and remind myself that warmer times are coming... Soon, I hope!
I haven't been too focused on PCC 3.0 yet. I'm very spoiled and I've been focused on our family trip to WDW in late August (180 day ADR window just passed!) and then my child-free 40th birthday cruise on the Dream in October!!! (Not to mention that I'm thinking about running my 1st full marathon at WDW in January).
I love reading all the posts and getting a sense of all the wonderful people I'll meet next year!

Amanda

Hey Amanda...good to see you post. I check every day during the week to see if anything is new here....it helps pass the time and I love see my ticker going down...I'm going to WDW next month for a couple of days...solo for the most part....

Look forward to meeting you next year.

I'm trying to come up with some way for all of us to get together on the cruise...to meet and say hello....not sure yet...guess I need to talk to the :worship: Genius at some point for some ideas

I'm finally to the point where I'm a little more excited about our trip to WDW on April 16 than the cruise . . . park touring plans can have that affect!

Next, though, will be plans for a Podcast 3.0 meet by the Wisconsin folks and anyone who might be close by . . .

That sounds like a cool idea to have a meet...I'm too far away...hmmm, I wonder how many people from my area are going this time....

I'll be just missing you in April :sad1:....I return home on the 11th.

Bummer! I'll be interested in your trip report, then!

It won't be much, as this is a short little trip, mainly to see my sister..I'm dragging her with me to MK...she is NOT a Disney fan...I am going to DTD and EPCOT by myself before meeting up with her....It's going to be a different experience for me this time...to be on my own...to do what I want to do...could make a decent report.....

so guys I have a dilema...but its a nice one to have:cool1: So we have the 5 night cruise but it total we will be staying for 14 nights so its how we do it.
My thoughts are 6 nights before poss at AKL then the cruise and then top it off with 3 nights at the Boardwalk. The first 6 nights we will have a car and then the last 3 days we wouldnt bother. The issue would be its quite soon to 4th July - how busy does it get around that time?

Any input would be great.

Angie

Cant wait for the cruise!:banana::banana:

Can't speak from experience, but it is the Summer Time and peak season...it's going to be busy...sounds like it's going to be a wonderful vacation. I think we are flying in the day before, and then staying 2 days after....

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers !!!!!

Hi everybody. This thread is moving kind of slowly, but that's probably due to the time we still have to wait.

Val & I are going to do a 3-night on the Dream in September so we will get a chance to see/experience the ship in only 6 months. Looking forward to trying out the new amenities and getting oriented. :boat:

I try to post every day to keep it active...it will pick up by the end of the year I'm sure.

Have a blast on the cruise, and be sure to let us know all about it.

Tom and I are doing a 4 night in October for my 40th birthday. I figure we need to check out the ship without kids so we know what to expect! :thumbsup2
