Podcast Cruise 3.0 - 06/24/2012

Hi
I'm interested too. You can include my cabin. Its a new cat 5E (old 6A).
Very different layout from all the standard cabins and probably more square footage than the standard 1 bedroom suites. I've stayed in the only 2 cabins on the Dream that have this layout.
Here are some excellent photos originally Posted by Jessica_Mouse ( big thanks to her).

I'd love to go on this stateroom crawl, but seeing as I'm not yet sure of our stateroom number, I shan't volunteer our stateroom

as I just posted on the other board and want to make sure i dont miss any of them, Probably no shock by now, but sorry to report once again, and hopefully now the final time, we have changed rooms once again.

Long story, but our orig cabin class had 1 opening and saved us $500 to go back to it, so now we are in cabin 9154, an 8B stateroom.

Weather is looking great for the cruise!

What is that pink thing going in front of the sun on the 27th? That has me worried. Is it a pink Cadillac eclipse?

First -- ONLY 20 DAYS!!!!!
:banana::banana::banana:

Now, for my question: how many formal nights will we have on our cruise and what nights will they be?

First -- ONLY 20 DAYS!!!!!
:banana::banana::banana:

Now, for my question: how many formal nights will we have on our cruise and what nights will they be?

Here's what we heard from the shoreside concierge team back in February:
Day 1 - Casual
Day 2 - Semiformal
Day 3 - Pirates
Day 4 - Casual
Day 5 - Casual

However, that doesn't seem to jive with the itinerary that DCL has attached to this cruise on the website. That's showing the Pirate Deck Party on Day 4.

In any case, there should only be one planned semiformal night (formal is usually only on the longer cruises). But you should feel free to dress however you wish. If you want to dress up every night, go for it! If you want to go casual, it's your vacation!

Wow! That cabin is huge! Very nice!

It's a crisp 51 degrees here in NJ this morning! Anyone else experiencing a sudden burst of cold air? Things are winding down at work for me (I am a teacher), and the kids are getting anxious. I'm definitely looking forward to a summer of rejuvenation starting with PCC 3.0!

Have a great day all!

Considering we flew through Phoenix yesterday and it was 97... this is COLD!

Here are the room types that have been volunteered so far (thank you to everyone!). I don't think we need every single category, but it would be terrific if we could at least hit every type of room. I have split some of the category groups up based on differences (solid verandah, obstructed view, etc.).

Please let me know via this thread or through PM if you're willing to share your room with everyone. We're looking for the room types where we still have question marks in particular:

Concierge Royal Suite w/ Verandah (Cat R)
12002 - NejTheLion

Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite w/ Verandah (Cat T)
?

Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom w/ Verandah (Cat V)

Thanks, Jen, for the info. Trying to decide what to pack . . . we haven't been on a Disney cruise in years -- 10 at least -- though we've been on other lines. So semi-formal suits us just fine.

Made special shirts for Pirate Night on PCC3.0 thanks to the Creative Disigns thread! We also have eye patches to wear.

Also made shirts for DH and DD7 for when we go to WWoHP. DD12 and I already have shirts. We are on Pottermore and we are each in different Hogwarts Houses so we each have a shirt with our house name on it!

I think we have everything we need now for the cruise! Just need to finalize all the packing and organize/separate what we need right away when we get on the ship that has to be checked on the plane. Will probably do that next week.

How's everyone else's packing going? I also started wearing my contacts so I can get used to them.

TTFN :tigger:

Since there is no official Cruise shirt, we ordered 6 DIS Unplugged shirts from the store. We plan on wearing those on Embarkation day. Hopefully there will be a sea of "Orange and White" in the terminal that Sunday.

I found a local screenprint place who'll do digital screen printing for $19.95.

My PCC 3.0 shirt is on its way and I'm wearing it on Sunday! Anyone else have one done????

Funny, that's what Val, Connor and I are wearing too!
