Podcast Cruise 2.0: what's your favorite memory???

I have to agree with a lot of folks, Bob Gurr was so amazing, and I'm so glad I had the nerve to ask him to join us for dinner in Palo (I really am shy if I don't know you). The fact that he was so interested in getting to know the fans and their Disney stories was so cool. He asked all of us how we got interested in Disney and I learned more about my friends, who each had great family stories to tell. We love to laugh, as those who had dinner near us will attest to, however there were also many tears flowing that night, talking about loved ones who weren't with us.

The other best moment occurred when I got home. I had lost my carry on after getting off the ship and apparently it decided it wanted to do another cruse. DCL, called on Sunday afternoon saying they had my bag and were going to ship it to me. There were several pieces of jewelry that my mother had given me so it was very precious to me and to know it was found is so great.

Robin, I'm glad that your luggage was found. Not being able to escape your group (including Palo brunch), I can attest for the love of laughter. Any small part of me that said, "Holy cow they are loud," was quickly replaced with a deep respect for the great friendship that your group has together. Way to go on asking Bob to join you. I have no doubt in my mind that the reason that he agreed to join you was because he saw how much fun you guys are. OR, it is possible that the real reason he agreed is because James told Bob that if he asked nicely that Todd would let him pet his giraffe.

I would have to say it was seeing Jodi Benson sing part of your world with my 9 year old daughter singing along. I have to say that is something I will remember for the rest of my life. My daughter has loved that song for so long.

I have so many great memories of this trip. Seeing old friends that I don't get to see nearly often enough--meeting new ones that I can't wait to see again.

The Jodi Benson concert touched me in a way that I never expected it would. Amazing doesn't seem to be a strong enough word.

One of the things I loved the most was meeting some of our younger cruisers. I made some new little friends that I hope to see again soon.

I loved getting a chance to chat with Gibson on the bus back to the airport, he is a remarkable young man.

And then the happenings in Wave Bands every night....at one point I was laughing so hard I thought I would pass out!

Jodi was actually at the 8;15 dreams show with her daughters That is a great story Kevin, those characters are so quick witted!


I have to also agree with the others, Bob Gurr was hilarious! I would love to see that video he was taping! Loved Castaway Cay and Palo was the best meal ever, both exceeded the hype! But overall, Jodi concert was the highlight!
