Someone who speaks electron configuration? Be still my heart!!!!:love::love:

And if you are fluent in stoichiometry.....well....you're already happily married.

I have to admit I didn't do that off the top of my head but I understand what it means ;) I'd actually rather have a biology based job, anatomy or pathology but I get to have fun with acids and glassware :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

WooHoo! Tuba Christmas in Orlando is happening Post-Cruise!!

Good Morning Everyone...very cool Friday...frost on the car windows today...but a warm front is coming our way next week...hahaha...while I'm in WDW...

TGIF folks! :wave2:

So we finally convinced my mom to come on the cruise with us, she has her own room, so were not linked for anything. My question is, has anyone ever gone on a cruise on their own? How was dinner? Were you bored? I know this is a big DIS cruise, and she likes Disney, so no shortage of people to talk to there, DH and I don't want her to feel left out... any ideas?

On a cruise I was on last year (not DCL - gasp!), there was a solo traveller that hung out with us a bit in the lounge, ship activities, and even on parts of independent excursions. I anticipate it's the same for most cruises: there'll be lots of cruisers/Dis'ers of all types so she should be fine. As mentioned, you guys can link for dinner too. Looking fwd to meeting you and your fam, Melody! :upsidedow

Mark - Congrats on post #1000

Hope it all goes well pixiedust:

I can't remember the last time we saw two movies in the same week but last nite we decided to go see Red (fun flick! popcorn::). On Tuesday I asked the person at the wicket, who also had Asst Mgr on his nametag, when tix would go on sale for the first HP date - the Nov 18 midnite IMAX showing - and he said first week of Nov. Last nite I asked again cuz I'm a dweeb and the wicket agent said, "they just started today"...yippeeee! :yay: I'm all set to go :wizard:

Will be a busy weekend as we're helping our friend's family put on a benefit dinner/auction/50-50 event for their daughter who was shockingly diagnosed with leukemia this summer. I'll spend tonite baking some desserts to supplement the offerings. I've worked a lot of fundraisers before but they were always for an organisation, not an individual family, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out - they have 200 baskets ready for silent and other auctions! Should be fun!

Have a fab weekend all! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:
