Just checked my countdown and I've only got 75 days left at work :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

16 weeks tomorrow and we'll be in Orlando :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Happy hump day!

Morning Becx!

I still have not done my work count down. Maybe I can make it happen after my next trip in 15 days. Too hard at this hour of the morning to wrap my head around with days off coming.

Happy hump day!

So that means it will be 16 weeks for us the day after tomorrow!!!

I still have 82 days left at work :jumping1:

Stitch Kingdom has loads of info, not sure if it mentions this or not.

Thanks for the link Becx, lots of info, but not to the my specific query. I think I shall e-mail Disney Photopass directly and see what they say....my guess is they will tell me that I need two--but whether or not I really do.:confused3

I have a photopass question.

How long do you have from when they snap the first photo and assign it to your card until you have to upload it to your photopass account?

I know you have 30 days to manipulate the photos and add borders and stuff, but how long do I have to put in the card info?

Say for example, I was going in the middle of December and the middle of January...could I get them all on one photopass CD?

Based on what I understand about the Photopass system, you have 30 days to upload your photos from when they are first taken & then 30 days to manipulate them from the time you up load them.

I arrive on Dec 4th and begin having pictures taken immediately, I have until January 4th to upload those photos. If I upload those photos on January 1st, I then have until February 1st to manipulate them.

...and since Disney still wants your money, they will extend those times for you. Last year at DAP we had pics that started in November and went to the end of January (John stays there a really long time!).

Happy Hump Day folks! :wave2:

Thursday we are headed back to Quebec for a four day vacation. I am very excited that we will be seeing the new Cirque de Soleil show Stauday. Hoping it does not rain so we can do some ncie bike rides and touristy walking through Quebec.

Tomorrow I am taking partner to Portland to see doctor for a "consultation" for the lump/tumor behind his eye. He is kinda worried about what is next.

I :lovestruc Quebec City - great atmosphere, gastro delights, tea at the Chateau Frontenac...ahhhh, feels like I'm far away. Have a fab time :upsidedow

Best of luck with his eye appt. pixiedust:

They can do it but don't expect it...apparently they used to do this. I requested a 3 day extension this spring and was directed to their payment options for it! :headache: IIRC it was only $8 but I was surprised...still cheaper than a new photopass CD if you want to get 2 trips on it.

But Todd shouldn't have any problems since he just has to claim the first one to keep the pass active. You have 30 days to claim it and then another 30 days after the claim to manipulate them. So a mid-Dec & mid-Jan trips can be easily accomodated. From the photopass website:

“claiming” means either adding a new Disney’s PhotoPass I.D. number to your account or logging in to your account after new photos have been added to a Disney’s PhotoPass I.D. number which was already associated with your account.

:goodvibes

Dispicable Me was a good movie but when we were at DQ afterwards (strawberry cheesecake Blizzard for me :cutie:), our friend mentioned he liked the movie but didn't think it was worth $28 for the both of them. Got me thinking...yeah that is pretty expensive!! I think I'll be less of a sucker for 3D from now on unless it's integral to the story (it wasn't for Dispicable Me but it was only showing in 3D). Of course, 3D is always integral to Pixar's storyline :rolleyes1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

cheers,
:flower3:

from the aforementioned site (which does answer your question i believe):

from the section on viewing photos:
An important thing to note regarding disneyphotopass.com, however, is that you are time limited to how long your photos are available online, so keep this in mind when you make your decision. You have 30 days to claim the photos by adding the card number to your account and/or viewing the photos online and the photos will then expire and start to be deleted 30 days from that point. Once photos are deleted from the Disney's PhotoPass account, chances are dramatically slimmer that they can be restored. Note that if photo is set to expire June 12, it will expire at midnight at the start of June 12, so your last real day is June 11). Photo storage extensions are no longer free upon request, but can be purchased in blocks of seven (7) and fifteen (15) days as needed by selecting the extension product from the product list, placing it in your shopping cart and completing the purchase. The prices are currently $4.95 and $9.95 respectively.

so if you can't make the timing between multiple trips, either buy extensions or a new photocd, whichever is less expensive.

Back from Portland for my guy's consultation with the eye surgeon. The MRI showed a tumor behind his left eye that is the size of his eyeball! Surgery August 30. Hopefully biopsy shows it is benign and things will quickly get better for him.

Meanwhile, a four day trip to Quebec will be nice treat to keep his mind off the surgery. We are really loking forward to the Cirque show. And croissants. And nice bike rides. Etc. Leaving very early Thursday morning.

Finally surfaced on the forums. Figured I should de-lurk and catch up with you guys as my countdown has me at only 113 days away! Three trips and some 80 odd work days and I can get back down to Disney. Haven’t been down there since 2008. Have they brought Walter Cronkite back to Spaceship Earth yet….oh well wishful thinking. Hope you all are making it through your week.
