I'll give you a hint:

Does that help??? ;)

I'm sworn to secrecy so I really shouldn't tell you any more....

You'll just have to be patient :hourglass

You just have to read this very literally: it starts with a...b...

The D was not a Doctor but a Disney Travel Agent :lmao:

We just booked the ABD (April) trip!!!!
Friday the 13th we booked our airfare from Amsterdam to Los Angeles and from LA to Orlando and then May the 7th back to Amsterdam.
All on award miles with United!!!

I thought that we would book the ABD trip last Friday so i could spread the news quick and didn't have to taunt you this long but everything took us a bit longer then expected.

Yvet - You know that taunting for too long can lead to rumors and speculation...:)

Good form on ABD.

Some people get Disney trips.
Some people get children.
Some people get both.

It takes all kinds... :):thumbsup2:)

For those interested, Gaylord Palms has released their Holiday Happenings including the Information about ICE.

http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylord-palms/best-of-florida-christmas/index.html?intcmp=gp-pl=tsr-cid=BOFC-headline

Thanks for this Tracey - we're thinking of doing a brunch there and seeing ICE! Does anyone know if you still have to pay to park there if you dine there? I'm gessing yes but Gav asked me to find out.

Glad to hear you had a good time, is it like a theme park? I'm trying to imagine it - our Cadbury World is more of a factory tour/museum and then there are some kids play areas outside as well as the town of Bournville which was built for the workers and their families.

Hershey Park is fully a theme park.

Started out (back in history) as pretty gardens for the workers. Hershey was very much a "company town" where workers were "taken care of" in ways that don't happen now.

from Wikipedia

Early years
In 1903, Milton S. Hershey, founder of the Hershey Chocolate Company, surveyed a site along Spring Creek that would be suitable for his park. Hershey Park opened on April 24, 1907, with a baseball game played on the new athletic field. The beautifully landscaped park was an ideal spot for picnicking, boating, and canoeing. Vaudeville and theatre productions were performed on a rustic bandstand and pavilion.

A merry-go-round was installed and opened on July 4, 1908. A 1,500-seat tiered amphitheatre was built next to the pavilion. The entrance sign proclaimed, “Ye who enter here leave dull cares behind.”

The park was expanded in 1909 with the addition of a tennis court, two bowling alleys, a large band shell, and a photography gallery. Guests could also enjoy a relaxing ride on the Scenic Railroad. In July 1912, a carousel manufactured by Willy H. Dentzel of the Dentzel Carousel Company in Philadelphia was added to the park. The carousel was 50 feet (15 m) in diameter and featured 53 carved animals that included lions, bears, giraffes, pigs, rabbits, an ostrich, goats and deer along with two chariots. The carousel was described as the “most magnificent and up-to-date carousel in this part of the country as well as one of the largest.”

Happy Monday!
Happy not-a-full-work week for me!

Leaving work a little early Wednesday to drive to partner's brother in Quebec just north of the Maine border. Then four days of bicycling and sightseeing around Quebec City.

And... Cirque de Soilei Totem with Tapis Rouge tickets! What a nice early birthday present he got me. :goodvibes

I am leaning towards going over to do it on December 20th, my last full day in Florida.

Does anyone know if you still have to pay to park there if you dine there? I'm gessing yes but Gav asked me to find out.

My experience is at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, they charge for parking regardless staying at the hotel or just visiting.

Parking Fees at Gaylord Palms listed on their website is:
$12/day - Self Parking
$20/Day - Valet Parking

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers. 114 days until we leave !!! The double digit dance is coming really soon.....Can't wait to meet everyone.

I started thinking the other day, I still have a lot to do. I'm not sure of the suitcase situation (might have to buy 1 more set..honestly forget what we have in the attic), have to design and make the FE, and figure out the money....I know what my normal spending habits are in WDW, but no clue on the cruise. I've thought about Travelers Checks (but decided against that for the most part), my DGD wants her money on a Disney Gift Card, so that means a trip to the Disney Store (oh, darn the bad luck...lol)...for myself and daughter, still not sure yet....seems I've been elected the "holder" of everything important...Passports, cruise documents, hotel documents, ADRs, schedule of events for the weekend, medical cards, gift cards and credit card..... (not sure when the vote was held, because I sure didn't vote...)..I really don't want to carry a purse with me, so I'm looking at using the 2010 Backpack that I bought in May. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions......it will all work itself out in time.

Have a great day !!!!!
