I can totally relate Lyn. I broke a rib last year and it was extremely painful to try and find a good position to sleep in. If you take care of it and not do any movements that reinjure it, you should be good in a month or so. They told me about 4 to 6 weeks and that was about right. After 6 weeks I was able to ride Space Mountain and Expedition Everest so I was happy as could be. Hope you heal soon.

Oh, great! 4-6 weeks?! Yes, sleep position has been tricky. And this is why I wake up stiff and sore and just a tiny bit cranky!
It was from a bicycle accident. I fell down on my side with the bike on top of me. Gosh, it hurts!

I will not be on Space Mountain and Expedition Everest until December, I should be okay by then.

We are wanting to get a new video camera for this trip. Pocket/Flip style. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Hi Jen. I'm in the market as well. I was going to go with the Flip UltraHD like Kelly has but I've since decided I'm going to go with a better still camera with HD video funtionality.

If I was going flip style I'd have to give the Kodak Zi8 a serious look. CNET likes it better than the Flip models.

Things have been crazy at work and I haven't been around much lately. I'm really looking forward to seeing many of you at the DIS meet next weekend and, although I wish it were for some completely different reason, those of you who are coming in for Matthew's memorial service on Friday evening.

What?! Are we allowed to take over chat on other nights?

I suppose the other disboards people who are not going on the cruise will be happy to have us stop talking cruise while they have to listen.

The final Big Brother ended a few days ago (we didn't watch it this year) but following straight on the winner went back in the house along with some previous housemates (normal and celebrity) from the last few years! It's a very interesting mix including a couple that met in the house, got married then divorced 9 months later To top it off it was their Wedding anniversary (which they didn't get to see) the other day!

Happy Friday!!! Since the office is mostly vacant, I declared it casual Friday. Which is kind of a moot point, because we are casual every day. Except I am wearing my sandals (yes with socks, cause that's how I rock) instead of my normal shoes.

Good morning, folks!

I woke up and got out of bed at 5:30, put on my walking clothes. Then fell back into bed and fell asleep until 7:30!
I think the pain from what I have decided is truly broken/bruised rib is truly tiring me out. Does that make sense? This kinda constant dull achey pain is new too me. I think I need to be taking motor ibuprofen.

Otherwise, it looks like a grand day!

Saturday we are meeting friends in Portland to go to Gauchos, Brazilian streak place. Yum!
