So at the Home Show this weekend, a boothvendor waves us over and DH stops to chat with him. Turns out he's booking timeshare presentationsI keep saying "No", DH keeps saying it's a pretty good deal
The guy keeps throwing in more and more stuff til DH says, "It's too good a deal to pass up"
I think I hear the guy say, "Sucker"
In the end we got:
- 5 days/4nites at waterfront hotel in Cocoa Beach
- $50 Ron Jon surf shop gift certificate
- $100 credit at the steakhouse restaurant
- 4 days/3nites at Radisson - 1 mile from WDW gate
- 2 tix to either WDW, SW, US
- no blackout dates, 24 months to use it
Pkg cost $299 - a good deal if you breakout the components. Not a good deal if we end up with a timeshare
Anyone do a timeshare presentation before...what was your experience like?
cheers,

I was 8. We were already in Florida. (parents and Grandparents) We had to ride around on a bus and spent an entire day going here and there. We had hot dogs for lunch & DSis(10 at the time) threw a hissy b/c she wanted the liver and onions the adults were having. We got a second day at the Magic Kingdom. (circa 1978)
I haven't done one since!
