Morn' all from Kentucky. Weather here is awesome. I'm glad I'm working at home this week - will be testing my wireless strength outside a little later. Going to enjoy the low humidity today - something that is rare this time of year in Louisville.

Just checked my countdown clock and it hit 10 days to my next trip "home" to see the mouse. Can't wait...

Lots happening this week. I'm doing some last minute things in our yard (Can I just sell my yard and live in my house), work for some reason is crazy, and I'm trying to prepare for a weekend get-a-way that we are highly anticipating!...

90 degrees in Vegas at 4:30AM! It's a dry heat, right?!
That's crazy! I'm going to guess most Vegas area residents, and tourists for that matter, don't come out of their homes or resorts unless it's absolutely necessary in the summer. 115 degrees in Vegas is probably like a winter storm warning in the midwest. Stay indoors!

The apple/choc/strawberry fests are in a little town called Long Grove.

Shanan ~ Apple Fest is October 2, 3 and 4. We usually go on Sunday. The bees are HORRIBLE but the apple donuts are AWESOME. We are going to go to Greek Days August 1 or 2.

My ex-boyfriend lives in Vegas. He is a plumber and works on new construction... he starts work at 6:00 a.m. and works until 11:00 a.m.... then he is off for a while and goes back to work at 3:00 p.m. and works until 6:00 p.m. so he is not working during the hottest time of the day. Genius!
