We've never been to CP. Made reservations for Dec 24 with lunch. Not sure of the speaker. Just that date would feel like our Christmas back home.

Lived here 5 years, been twice. Both booked with lunch resos & both to see Neil Patrick Harris.

First podcast cruise and I just think thats so cool

Will be paying off cruise in full in just a few weeks. Then everything will be booked and paid off and I can do the full happy dance

Podcast transportation won't work for us, because my cruise roommate is staying at Bonnet Creek and I'm staying at the Swan pre-cruise. Instead, we have two one-way rentals booked with Budget.

Just a quick hello and introduction. My wife, daughter (13), son (17), mom, dad, and I will be on PCC 4.0. It will be our first PCC, but our 7th Disney Cruise with all 6 of us together. The first six were 7 night cruises on the Magic, and we are looking forward to our first trip on the Fantasy.

We live in Maryland, so the warm weather will be much appreciated in December. Really looking forward to meeting fellow DISers. BTW... I'm Brian

Sayhello - we were looking at the same issue with transportation to the hotel. Well - we waited a little long to get the reservation so Dolphin was booked solid Wednesay night. So the down side is we spend a night at All Star Movies, but get Magical Express from the airport. So now we will just use resort transportation to get from ASM to the Dolphin on day two. Transportation crisis averted!

We too booked a Candlelight Procession package. We got a lunch reservation and 5:00 showing on December 7. Should be great to experience something I've heard about for years, but never have been on site to experience.

That's what we're doing on 18th. Lunch is not quite as over-priced as dinner.

Correct! And cheap as we are trying to be no some things - we looked for the lowest price lunch! But in this case, we are trying a restaurant new to us in EPCOT, so I bet it works out quite nicely.

Depending on what it really means, I may be most excited about the priority viewing of Illuminations.

I've been scanning this thread since it started and just realized I never joined in with the chit chat. I'm Mary and my DH is Tom and we will be joined on 4.0 by my parents. We were on 2.0 & 3.0 as well. My parents and I will be flying in on 12/2 to celebrate my birthday and so my parents can see the Christmas decorations. Tom will be joining us the day before the cruise. Since my dad will be 85 when we set sail this vacation is all about spending time with my parents.

Be sure to do some digging - I've seen that some people say that the Illuminations priority viewing is not very good & that non-priority areas are better. I cannot say because we never stay for it after CP, as DD always has school the next day so we head home right after CP is done.

We're going Nov 26th. Excited to see NPH. DD has early release every Monday, so we are having lunch at 2:30 & going to the 5pm show. I like the 1st (5pm) show because then we aren't waiting in line for a later show while that one is going on. Oh yeah, and lunch is cheaper!!!!

Emailed Captain Marvins today for anyone interested in the Stingray/Snorkel tour not through ship. They will do a 2 stop tour with stingray swimming/ and 1 snorkel stop from 12-2:30 for $38. They will drop off back at port or at 7 mile beach at 2:45pm ship time. The last tender is 4:30. Hope this helps We are the only ship in the Caymans that day just fyi.

We'd like to use the Dis transfers but at this stage we have some DVC points in holding and need to be within the 60 day windows - so it may depend when they close the transfers off.

Good advice - being a fan of Illuminations I have a decent feel for what makes a nice location. So, if we arrive and it stinks - we'll go find our own spot!
