Good Morning fellow cruisers. Gonna be a busy day at work, so I thought I would check out the boards before I ran out of time. Hope your day goes well.

So, there is a chance my sister will like the Carnival Magic better than DCL. Food is better. And she might prefer Vegas shows. Hope not. I know she enjoyed going to plays in NYC when she went to Rutgers.

I have only been on one DCL cruise, the four night PCC 2.0. There were a few moments when I wondered what entertainment would be if it was not musical plays aimed at families with children. Guess I will have to keep cruising and try different cruise lines.

Its entirely possible she might like the Carnival Magic better (it's getting spectacular reviews as a "new" Carnival. I am lookinig forward to seeing the new stuff.

My working theory is that the first cruise line you sail with (assuming its a good experience) will remain your first love. After all - cruising is a game changer when you take your first. Vacation is no longer the same! And every cruise following that is compared to your first...

That said - the cruise lines all have good things to enjoy - at least the ones I have sailed upon!

Good Morning all....just in case anyone is counting...we have 571 days until we sail on the Fantasy !!!!

Forgot to mention earlier...we had a nice weekend...some showers in the mix, but not enough to mess things up....we opened the pool. The water looks great, and got the chemicals balanced....if it weren't for the fact that the water temp is 66 degrees, we could swim. Only one problem.....I have to replace the ladder (AGAIN)....I swear, I don't understand why these companies make ladders with metal frames...it's going into water with chemicals....went to clean it off, and found numberous holes....I just don't think it's safe. So, I went to a different pool store, and all they sell are ladders made of heavy duty plasitic....Good...I ordered one. That should be in tomorrow, and hopefully this one will last more than 2 years. I love having the pool (it's nothing major, just an above ground one) but it's almost becomming more of a pain in the butt, than it's worth. But, my girls would shoot me if I took it down. Anyway...this is my first sign that Summer is on the way...when I look out the kitchen window and see the cover off of it, I smile.

I am pretty excited to learn today the original Tiki Room attraction is returning to WDW, but bummed iPhone 5 is not likely to arrive this year. So it's a 1-1 decision.

Go Mavericks - Western Conferemce Finals start this evening!

Good morning, Podcast cruisers! My son and I returned from our 3-week vacation (WDW and Transatlantic cruise) on Sunday. We apparently just missed the 80-degree summer-like weather and returned to the cold and wet Midwest.

We went to Epcot last Friday for the 1st day of Pixar weekend. For us, it was a bust because Wall-E wasn't there He was rumored to be by Mission Space, but he wasn't. So, after 4 hours, we decided to come home and get an iPad!!!!

We are going back Friday to see the Pirates premier at Downtown Disney & lunch at Rainforest Cafe. DH wants to go to the Star Tours opening, but not me!
