I haven't read them either nor do I care to read them... I am such a bad sparkly ear'd sister but I just can't get interested in vampire stories..

It's not really a vampire story - it's a romance story with some vampires and werewolves in it. Try it, you'll like it.

And this is a perfect time to pimp out the DIS Twigirls & Twiguys Coven Podcruise Meet :cutie::love::cutie::love:

Kelly, I thought the same thing - the books are just what Tonya described them as they are a love story/triangle - the characters just happen to be Vampires and Werewolves. I highly recommend reading them, I think you will be surprised and actually like them.

Well, I did it. I went to the gym and did the treadmill (I even ran a little), and upper body training, and a half hour of a class called Body Blast. I would have stayed longer to finish the class, but my time was up for the Kids Zone.

Good for you Jen!

I went to the YMCA last night for my "Arthritis Water Aerobics" class. The regular instructor is on vacation for two weeks. :( I like her better than the substitute. The regular instructor at least gets you moving to get your heart rate up with low impact movements. The sub only did stretching in the water nothing to get the heart pumping.

Happy Hump Day folks! :wave2:

:guilty: (Hanging head in shame)

I haven't read the books either . . .

Me neither - too scary!

I love Stephen King

:scared1: :scared1:

Oh, yum Tonight was lobster rolls for just $5.00. Better than the one I paid $12 for this weekend! I bought three to split between dinner and lunch tomorrow. Wish I had bought more!

Wow & YUM! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

Just got back from the gym. Weights and treadmill. On the way home, I picked up more lobster rolls to share with people at work. :goodvibes

I am so disappointed. :sad1: This has happened before. I make all the plans, reservations. He backs out. I have to cancel everything. He doesn't really like travelling, any way. He is better with day trips.

Sorry to hear your trip was cancelled - bummer :sad2: How about letting him do the planning & reserving next time - maybe it will excite him more and he'll be less likely to bail? :confused3

TS3 was fab!! The Pixar short before it, Day & Night, was absolutely brilliant! What incredibly talented storytellers they are - and I'm not even talking about the messaging, just the concept was spectacular - definitely worth seeing in 3D. TS3 had the most seamless 3D I've seen so far. Sometimes 3D makes me a lil woozy or seems a bit off, even with Up, here and there. Not with TS3 :3dglasses

cheers,
:flower3:

Planning on seeing it tomorrow evening. The anticipation is killing me!

Hmmm I have always wondered where that extra money she has comes from...:scratchin...she sold my life story!!!:lmao::lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: You should make a movie based on that :thumbsup

Happy Wednesday!!!!!
I'm in as long as I don't have to clean it! And it should be noted that I tend not to be allowed to use many kitchens anymore between the knife slip and the fires....:rolleyes1

DD has decided to cheer for England too - she doesn't have ties to any other country involved. Of course in my neighbourhood everyone cheers for Portugal and Brasil

Heck if me and Gav could move to Florida and live in a masion I'd be quite happy to cook, clean, whatever :goodvibes

 Hope your DD isn't too disappointed if we loose :scared1: (one nil at present to us :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:)

Mini rant. :scared1:

I am so disappointed. :sad1:
All reservations for vacation next week have been cancelled. Mostly due to partner's various health problems (bad back, plantar fasciitis, sore throart), partly due to chance of rain not being good for outdoor activities like biking and hiking.

This has happened before. I make all the plans, reservations. He backs out. I have to cancel everything. He doesn't really like travelling, any way. He is better with day trips.

I am really looking forward to my December trip! :wizard:

Oh Lyn  Such a shame you've had to cancel. I hope you are able to do day trips instead? But as you sy at least YOUR trip is on :thumbsup2

The Twilight books don't seem scary enough for my tastes - but if I can get them fairly cheap I may read them.

How many books are in the series?

Glad you liked TS3, good to know the 3D is improving. The thing I don't like is wearing the 3D glasses over my glasses, but I get used to it.

There are 4 books in the series. Definitely not very scary but easy to get sucked into the story. The books are 10X better than the movies but I can't resist watching those either. They're so bad though. :confused3

They do have some 'visual' appeal.

Hi everyone!

Trying to catch up on this thread this morning. I've been reading, but not posting. Since I dislocated my shoulder Monday morning (ouch) I can't type very well, although I have been working the last two days and it hasn't been too bad. I have to keep the brace on my arm, though, until I see the doc next week.

Thanks, everyone on Facebook, for the terrific birthday wishes!:flower3::wave2: I'm thinking that going to see Toy Story 3 popcorn::would be a great way to spend my birthday evening, but we'll have to see.

We are getting a new bathroom tomorrow (thanks Bath Fitter!), so we need to (or Jeff has to) do some work to get the sink and toilet and stuff out of the room so they can work tomorrow. Time to finally say goodbye to the pink, tiles, the pink tub and the pink floor - Yay! Gotta love those 50's and 60's colored tile bathrooms...

Have a happy Wednesday!

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. HUGS! Hopefully the thought of having a new bathroom and seeing TS3 will keep you in good spirits on your BIRTHDAY!!!

I hear ya on the old bathroom gripe. Just last week we decided to replace the toilet and sink in our 1/2 bath on the main floor... plumber came in, says pipes are no good - has to replace them all down to the basement. When they started the plumbing work, they found the old walls were bad, contractor had to be called in, and so on... long story short, the bathroom has been gutted. Nothing can ever be easy!

But retro is so in! :rotfl2:

Actually, I have been reluctant to redo the room since I like the retro look, but I'm just so sick of seeing PINK. I did threaten my dh with decorating the new bathroom with Mickey Mouse. He said it wouldn't be so bad, but since it's our only full bathroom in the house, we thought it might be a little much. (I'm still thinking about it, tho;))

I can't believe I didn't know there was another book. I'm showing my Twilight ignorance. I just looked it up on Amazon...looks interesting.

LOL...don't feel bad...I sure was reading that post like Really??? Another one??? WOW! Maybe after I watch Eclipse I'll read all the books.
