Happy Thursday folks!

Still can't believe my BABY is getting married tomorrow..

Wow, congrats!! Fab to hear it was a wonderful time - and so lovely of you to not only accept but adore your new DIL - she's a lucky girl!

My mom and I put our deposit down on the Podcast 2.0 cruise yesterday and I'm SO excited. I just listened to the one recorded on the last cruise and now I can't wait for this one!! Hope to "meet" and get to know all of you guys!Kristen

I got home and did some ironing while Gav cooked dinner. Then Sunday we didn't do much at all, it was lovely
Got a 3 day weekend next weekend, my FIL is doing a BBQ and I just hope we get similar weather to this weekend, it's been lovely.

Glad it's "good times"! I can't remember the last time DH cooked a meal but it's grilling time so he'll be doing that at least 1/wk

I am not official yet, but I have put a ticker down in my signature with the hopes that it will bring me good luck so that I can go on this Podcast cruise with y'all...... and one can never have too much Pixie Dust! Not one to be accused of just lurking..... I thought I would say Hi.

I lost the Internet on Monday but I thought it was a wireless router issue so I spent hours on it. At least I had a good nite: Robin Hood and DQ strawberry shortcake afterwards - the temps have really picked up here between the 8 of us there was a lot of fast scooping going on...

Have had sporadic at best, mostly no Internet this week and it's driven me near mad iphone has kept me sane

We're off for an extended long weekend so for us today is TGIF! Nothing exciting happening here tho - going to buy the pressure washer we scoped out and wash the outside of the house, then scrape & sand to in preparation of painting...my summer fun this year

Any idea which resort you would choose?

My husband loves AKL, but when we went to the Doorway to Dreams store for the meet, we toured the BLT studio and 1 BR. I never thought we would like that style, but, we actually really liked the 1BR, so, you never know... I think it will come down to if we buy through DVC or re-sale, what the incentives are, ect...

Andrea - I think Jackie said Millie wasn't cruising.

Oh, I guess I missed that, too bad. I'm sure they'll be another time then.

So is everyone doing the WCC breakfast actually staying at WL or VWL the night before? I only ask because, per Todd's comment above, the reservation may have to be an early one and WL/VWL isn't easy to get to from other parts of The World necessarily (unless you have a vehicle).

I think that they have a 15% DVC discount at breakfast by the way.

We are not staying at WL, we'll be at the Swan, but, we will have a rental car, so depending on the size of the rental I'm sure we could squeeze two people in and take them to WL.

I went through that a few months back - mine ended up being the wireless router. The power supply on the power cord took a surge which fried it. The company sent me a new router & cord - but initially, I only had to replace the power supply since the router still worked - but after a few weeks the router became flakey too, so I had to install the new router and go through the activation process with my internet provider.

June 15th or sooner if it falls in your Arrival Date +10 days. For me I can begin making reservations on June 7th, since I arrive on December 4th.

Well.........if you don't mind us coming along It would be a great opportunity to get together, and if I remember correctly, Jackie's daughter is the same age as Kimberly so that would be nice!

Sorry, Andrea. We've been going back and forth on this for awhile now. Right now, we aren't going to bring her, but if things go well in the fall, when she starts middle school, we might change our minds and bring her along. I'm sure she and Kimberly would get along great.

But, we'd still LOVE to see you guys at breakfast! Sounds like a plan is coming together. Jen, if you need some help on this, I'd be glad to help out.

Trust me, I know what you are struggling with. The thought of taking Kimberly out of middle school for a week is not sitting well with me, but, we went on PCC 1.0 without the girls and I felt worse not bringing them and my mind was not fully on the trip and having a good time. I couldn't do that again, plus all my kids have been talking about is the cruise!! Every time Jodi Benson comes on the Disney channel to promote Toy Story 3 they get so excited.

I am going to be very proactive with her teachers/guidance counseler and make sure that she will be making up all work, going for extra help, whatever is needed to make up the week that she will be missing.

I hope you get your internet probs sorted I know it took DH ages to set up the wireless network and get both the PC and laptop working And he knows about computers

Oh it's good you've seen the model rooms. I hope you get some good insentives or you find a good offer for re-sale

The thought of taking Kimberly out of middle school for a week is not sitting well with me, but, we went on PCC 1.0 without the girls and I felt worse not bringing them and my mind was not fully on the trip and having a good time. Andrea, how old are your girls again? DD will be 9 on the cruise. We haven't had issues taking her out yet, and they don't do much in December, so I am ok with it. I have had trouble getting co-operation from her teachers. The last 2 trips, they refused to send work with us, but after this past short trip - she had 2 days to catch up and prepare for a math test. She didn't do very well. I had even mentioned to her teacher that I would be setting aside time for my own homework.
