Hi everyone.. I’m back

I think we have recovered from the wedding, it was a crazy day, very wet for a outdoor wedding so lots of last minute maneuvering to move everything into the tent that was luckily rented. Can you believe before we even sail I do it all over again as DS #1 gets married in 4 months… how crazy is that??

Anyway, work is crazy busy and I need to get caught up on my emails so off I go for now. I will try and pop in before the end of the day. I must get caught up on all these threads, the boards are hopping now that we are so close

I am waiting to get my ticket later in the fall- end of October/early November, since they extended AP Discounts to the later December dates at about that time frame last year.

Good to know that I don't have to rush. Not like they sell out, right?

Plus, I am not completely sure that I am going to the party.

The Party night we attended last December did sell out, but just a few days prior to the event date. As long as you pre-purchase by mid November, you should be fine.

Looking at your tempeature reading in our siggie. Almost 80 already!
We are supposed to hit 90 today. I am glad the new library has air conditioning. Hope we can manage the increased electric bill.

I will go for a short walk today. I need to get acclimated to the heat. I had a couple woozey moments during Sunday's thirten mile bike ride in warm weather.

Yes, it is going to be a warm day here today, temp will be close to 90.

I will go for a short walk today. I need to get acclimated to the heat. I had a couple woozey moments during Sunday's thirten mile bike ride in warm weather.

Make sure you stay hydrated, The heat got to me one day while I was in Florida even though I was drinking lots of water, it wasn't enough.

Hope everyone is having a good day! My mom just called me at work and we got VWL for the night of the 16th! I was hoping for BLT, but I can't wait to see Wilderness Lodge with all the decorations. Now to convince her that we need to go to MVMCP to see the Castle with the lights! Shouldn't be to difficult right?

Hi ya George Gav is going to call today and see what they have. We've already got 16th - 22nd at AKL Kidani Village, the 23rd - 28th is currently SSR so we're already split! I'm hoping we can get in to BLT for a few nights But if not I'm happy at SSR, love being so close to DTD But thanks, good to hear it's worth a try, you can read the boards and sometimes it appears you won't get in anywhere that isn't your Home Resort

I'll let you know what happens.

Seeing the Castle draped in "ice" is an absolutely not be to missed experience. The party is wonderful - the Christmas parade & fireworks spectacular - hot chococate and cookies too.

The VWL are so pretty for holidays - DH & I are staying there too post cruise. You'll love it

In case people were skipping the party - The castle draped in "ice" can be seen any night, not just party night.

All the deluxe resorts look great at the holidays. Worth a resort hopping tour to see the decorations.

Somehow we squeezed resort hopping into DAP. We only did the deluxes, but I think it was well worth it.

IMHO - I like the 3 Epcot resorts even more so. Also, don't forget the Wilderness Lodge - it is the perfect holiday setting

I didn't get to all the Epcot resorts during DAP - so they are a MUST Do this December.

I am thinking about doing one or both holiday tours they offer, if I can fit them into my schedule. If I do the Holiday D'lights Tour - that also includes CP so I can get that in also.
