Had another great bike ride on another rail trail. Today was the same distance as yesterday. Thirteen miles. But the surface was packed dirt (good) and loose sand and loose gravel (Not so good). Much more difficult ride, and the sun was much stronger.

Grea to be out on nice weekend days!

DS Wheels turns 20 tomorrow. May go see Shrek since local theater doesn't charge him since he doesn't use a seat. We'll spend the money on popcorn. It's bad for you, but we don't go to movies that often.

Started at 11 months with SSR//SSR (pre//post). Our intentions were to stay at BCV's all along, and if possbile a portion at BLT. We are trying to stay at each DVC resort. At 7 months to the day for the pre, it went to BWV//SSR adding a pre waitlist for BCV.

Last week I called to change our post SSR stay to BCV, not noticing our pre-waitilsit for BCV's had come in. Got BCV post but there was no BLT studios available so we waitlisted for a standard view. BCV//BCV.

Today I decided to call MS and they had three consecutive days available at a BLT lake view studio starting on the 16th. We decided to grab it. It was 8 pts more than the BCV studio for the three nights. Worth it I think. Will be our first split stay.

BCV//BLT/BCV

Next year we should accomplish staying at all WDW DVC resorts finishing off with OKW and AKL. Looking forward to it.

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope everyone's weekend peaceful and uneventful in the stress area.

This past week my DD made the HS cheer JV team, won a Presidential award for Delta Academy and turned 14 today so yesterday was all about her. We had 35 people come to dinner with us to celebrate I think the restaurant folks thought we were well behaved... Other than that it rained A LOT so today we are just going to chill.

Saturday was busy - I was working and it was an hour more than I had expected, but it's all good as I'll get paid a bit more I got home and did some ironing while Gav cooked dinner. Then Sunday we didn't do much at all, it was lovely

Got a 3 day weekend next weekend, my FIL is doing a BBQ and I just hope we get similar weather to this weekend, it's been lovely.

Six months and three-ish weeks until we sail.

Sadly I will be leaving it prior to the cruise and officially joining the land of the old people. Just have to wait on my iceberg until some whipper-snapper pushes me out into the sea...

Hi Becky. Happy Monday.

You never know about BLT. Even though you might have a waitlist that will autofill, I find daily phonecalls to MS provide the best possibility of getting into the high demand DVC's. I wouldn't give up Becky and would call if you really want it. Even if you have to split stay.

Sitting home "babysitting" a work crew installing tile floor in our kitchen and 1/2 bath. Heck of a way to waste a couple of vacation days - but it will be worth it in the end!

After today's major chaos, I may find I can actually log in and work from home Tuesday and Wednesday, saving some of those precious vacation days!

Heading off to Culpeper (about 2 hours away) to set up and decorate for the wedding, then we will come home and get ourselves ready for the big day tomorrow..

Still can't believe my BABY is getting married tomorrow.. We were talking about something to do with the wedding last night and he wasn't agreeing with me and I reminded him that until they pronounce him married he still is mine and must follow my rules and direction. He though it was funny and laughed, I was being serious LOL

I am and all at once.., plan to wear lots of waterproof makeup and sunglasses 'cause I will be crying

Hi everyone, Just wanted to know if I could join this thread. My mom and I put our deposit down on the Podcast 2.0 cruise yesterday and I'm SO excited. I honestly didn't think we'd be able to go. I've been listening to the podcast since about December and I'm hooked. I just listened to the one recorded on the last cruise and now I can't wait for this one!! Hope to "meet" and get to know all of you guys!

Although I would like to stand up again and not have both knees pop. (but perhaps that's a Pooh thing and not an older-than-dirt thing.)

40 has been fabulous so far. (a week or so now) I did start the knee trouble at 10 though, so it can be anything when it comes to knees.


It has been a good long weekend so far...heading off to see Furry Vengence in a bit, lots of bbq and ice cream.
