PO-Riverside - Any new renovations lately?

I just booked at POR for 7 nights in November. We have stayed many times before but the last few years we decided to try a few different resorts. The last time we were at POR it was still called Dixie Landings and some of the rooms were starting to look a bit tired. Have they renovated lately? Do they need to? Just curious.

I know that they have just recently finished refurbishing the Alligator Bayou section. That's where we will be staying in June.

We just returned from our stay at Port Orleans Riverside, and the rooms were nice--looked fresh to me. We were in the Alligator Bayou section. When we took the boatride from POR to Downtown Disney, it looked like a non-AB building was still getting some fresh paint on the exterior. All in all, I thought the resort looked nice.

We just stayed in the Magnolia Bend section last week. Our room appeared to have been recently refurbished. Everything was very nice.

They are in the process of refurbishing this entire resort, the work will be complete by the time you are there. Since the resort is so large, individual buildings have been closed and are reopening as they are finished. The rooms have received new carpeting, furniture, beds and bedding, drapes, and wall coverings. All rooms now include a mini fridge and coffee maker free of charge. The photos of the renovated rooms look very nice indeed.

All rooms in POR have been completely redone early this year. New everything. They all have small (but good size fridge, no freezer), 4 cup coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and board. There is also now a privacy curtain that closes off the sink area from the bedroom area.
