Gimp, I mean Bb

, it is when a Jewish person becomes 13yo. There doesn't have ot be a celebration and it's something that happens automatically, but usually there's years of prep, religious school, Hebrew school, and as it gets closer, tutoring, etc. It's a big deal. In our congregation they actually lead the service. I'd never been to one until our DD had hers (I wasn't raised Jewish, so it was all Greek to me

), so I didn't understand the significance to the whole thing. For each one of my kids, more of my siblings keep coming. The first one, only my sister, who is LDS came (which makes sense, since religion is so important to her), then the last one my other sister, too. This one, all 4 of my sibs are coming and my BIL. And hopefully our elderly mother and also my nephew and his new wife. I think the word got out that it's a lot of fun.
