Froggy, I LOVE rodeos! I'm sure you know they hold the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas (where I'm from). My dad used to get us tickets sometimes. I loved going. I especially liked seeing which Country Music star would be singing the National Anthem!

i used to ride in rodeos occasionally, but after seveeral construction accidents over the years, drs wont let me ride anymore. i would not mind this one if i got to see much of it, but i am with the group that sells the programs and t shirts every year so i dont get to watch the action i did see a few saddle bronc riders and a couple bull riders, even got to watch two of the ropers work, and one of our local barrel racers

You know what, until about 2 years ago, I thought those broncs and bulls were just naturally mean and crazy. I didn't know the *real* reason they were bucking around like that. It sure is fun to watch those events though!

How's everyboday doing this evening? After church we took a roadtrip down to Fredericksburg and visited the little shops. I bought a few things, so did the girls. Then we had dinner at Cracker Barrel. Yum!

uhhh a lot of them are really mean nasty wild animals, very seldom are hte best rides the ones that are prodded into bucking.

Hey all! Quick drive by posting... We went to the aquarium today, then ate lunch at Dewey's, which we really liked. Got ticketsfor a Tuesday night baseball game and let the kids play a couple hours of video games. Some shopping and we were ready to collapse. It's my DH's birthday and I think he's ready to fall asleep, but not he has some work to do. Such is life. My computer is being so slow loading pages that I don't think I'm going to bother using it much.

When we checked into the hotel last night they'd messed up and didn't have enough 2 double bed rooms with a sleeper sofa in the living room, so for last night they gave us adjoining rooms (not connecting, I know the difference--I read the resorts forum )--one room with I think a double bed that my older boys shared and another with a king bed with a living room with a sleeper sofa that my DH, Jake and shared. And instead of charging the $119 for the night they charged $89. Then for the rest of the week we have a suite with 2 bedrooms plus a living room for the $119/night that the one bedroom suite would have cost. It was a pain to move rooms, but now we have more space.

Well, my DD is on the phone, so I should see how things are back home (and who she has sleeping with her tonight--just girls, I hope! ).

Hello all. I am so sleepy today. Went to my sisters house yesterday to have a birthday party for my friends son. Had crabs and went to the pool. The crabs were yummy and the pool was fun. My sister lives in a golf course community and they have a very nice pool. It has 3 pools, a baby pool, a kids pool, that has 0 entry, a mushroom water feature and only goes to 3 and a half feet and then a regular pool. We were there for about 2 hours and spent the 1st hour in the kids pool. Then we moved over to the regular pool and I did some water aerobics so today my body feels beat. We didn't leave my sisters house until 11 and got home at 12:30. Then when I got home I had to make the bed. I had started a major bed cleaning on Saturday and hadn't finished before I left for my sisters. I had flipped the mattress, changed the sheets, washed the blankets, and also washed my body pillow. I only had the gotten the bottom sheet on so I had to finish putting everything back.
