We had a much smaller party for her in the years past and she really does have nice friends. I just can't believe my baby is 14 :sad2:

That must be hard. I'm freaking out because my baby is starting Kindergarten this year. :guilty: No more babies at home.

The pool was nice. (I didn't pee in it, Angel.)

Well the 22 yo is being a real piece of work lately :sad2: I thank my stars Rebecca has been pretty good so far.
I am so proud Teva :rotfl:

Redshoes: How are things in Utah? How are your kids doing?

Hey Bonnie :wave2:
I LOVE  your new Tinkerbell- so cute. Boys are doing alright. Zack has been a little turkey today. DH and I are going to coach his soccer team this year (his first time playing, our first time coaching) so we had to pick up our uniforms and other stuff. What color short of pink would you think little boys were be very very hesitate to wear- if you guessed purple, you are correct. We showed Zack his uniform and his first words were, "hey thats a girls color". He is going through a gender stage, the whole girls play with dolls, boys play with trucks, boys wear blue and green, girls wear pink and purple thing. DH and I said it will be interesting to see if the other boys are our team have the same issues with the uniform color.
Did you do anything fun this weekend?

Hello, Kate!

That's funny little Zack was upset about his purple uniform. You know what was funny, is when I taught Kindergarten last year, the boys actually liked the color pink. Sometimes they would fight over who got the pink paper or the pink balloon, or the pink basket for the easter egg hunt. Kind of surprised me, I must say!

As for my weekend so far, this morning my two younger DDs had a primary activity--the primary olympics. Then the parents had to come and watch the video they made. Then Brent and I went to the movies and saw John Tucker Must Die, which was really cute. We hung around at home for a little while and then went across the street to our friends' house and played their golf game they got for their X Box. I'm SOOO not into video games, but this one you had to hook some wires up to yourself and you swing a little golf club and stuff. It was fun.

How about you, are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Bonnie,
I would love to see that movie, but I used my turn on the Devil Wears Prada so its DH's turn next time and since we don't get out much without the boys it might be months before we see a movie again. Sounds like your little girls had a fun day. My parents sold their house yesterday (its my childhood home, they have lived their for 30 years) and they have to be out by the 25th of Aug. They have not even looked at homes that are for sale because they were not sure that their home would sale. So DH and I spent the day taking my Mom around looking at houses. Since we sold our home last year, its still fresh in our minds so we are trying to help her and my Dad. We had a birthday party for our nieces so we went to that, it was kind of a noneventful but busy weekend.

ok as of 11 15 tonight, last night what ever, the rodeo is over onceagain till next year. its fun,but extremely tireing.

Froggy, I LOVE rodeos! I'm sure you know they hold the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas (where I'm from). My dad used to get us tickets sometimes. I loved going. I especially liked seeing which Country Music star would be singing the National Anthem!
