disneymom, you just happened to choose a pic that won't let you post it. That happens sometimes. I tried to post a pic of your dress too, but it wouldn't work for me either. Sometimes, in that situtation, you have to save the pic to photobucket first and then do it from there. I quoted your post so I could check if you did it right and you totally did. :thumbsup2

Keep trying, you'll get the hang of it. Just practice by swiping someone's clipart out of their siggy and trying to post it. You can swipe my cow if you want!

Okay, so it's the wrong thread, but I finally got my dress picked out!!

There's the little mountain looking icon that you can see when you are posting a reply. You can click on that so you don't have to type the part when posting a picture. Used to be a little window would pop up, like when bolding text, but tonight it's doing it directly on the page of text. Guess a change happened that I wasn't aware of. :confused3

Missy, yuck on your commute!

Missy--what do you do?

I work for a publishing company. But nothing glamorous like a magazine. It's a directory, like a phone book. But we don't publish it anymore, it's internet only. I'm an editor, which means I write boring technical stuff--nothing fun. For instance, I spent today writing descriptions for a company that manufacturers fasteners for military applications. See what I mean? But it pays the bills, I've been doing it for 23 years. Most days I like it. Check it out:

I have tried the little mountain thingy before, but I wasn't clicking properties on the picture. I am going to be a picture posting fool so watch out! Except that right now I have to go cut out crosses.

Yay! You did it, disneymom!! You posted a pic of your dress!!

Bonnie,
What's up with the cow? I'm a huge fan of holsteins so it's just an honest question, I promise.

He kind of freaks me out, I think its the whole Elvis' daughter thing. I must be really hot because I'm critizing hot men, like I can be picky.

I'm with you on this one. He doesn't do it for me - but I like his movies!

Disneymom - I LOVE that dress!

She's working and is leaving for the beach after she gets off. Which means it will be dark when she's driving. I need to make sure that she knows that only she is to drive the car, after Cool Bean's thread.

I hope she has a safe trip.

Steph-
How are you? Thank you for the notes the other night :) . How is work? Has it slowed down any?

Hi Everybody,

Hope your weekends are all off to a great start. Hubby and I have been putting off a number of purchases until some money we've been expecting came in, and it did, and we've been shopping with a capital S.

Over the last couple of days we've bought luggage, clothes, many bags of this and that from that huge money drain we like to call Target, and my favorite purchase of today - these shoes:

and just because it happened to be on the camera when I downloaded the pics of my shoes, here's a cute one of my doggie Snicker:

She just left--she's meeting up with the other kids and then driving to Salisbury. They won't get there until about 2:30. I sure wish that they had of just waited and left early in the morning, but then didn't want to hit Saturday beach traffic. Even if it slowed them down by an hour, it seems better than driving at night and when they are sleepy. I guess I used to be young and stupid. Now I'm just stupid. :teeth:

I'm off to bed. For the first time in a long time we don't have any reason to wake up early, so hopefully we can sleep in.

Cute shoes, LB! And cute dog.

I'm going to bed too. Hope everyone has a good night and hopefully we will here from Becky soon.
