I hope our humidity is better. I haven't been outside yet to see, but will soon when Jake goes to swimming. I was so miserable the last few days and anything dryer and coller will be an improvement.

I had an order in for 3 girls, but instead had 1 girl and 3 boys. Looking back I think it was for the better. But of course I'd be saying that if I had all girls, too. When I had the ultrasound of my first boy I told my DH that I didn't have boys--all because I had one DD.

When I was preg with DS#2, I had an ultrasound. Now, they did high level ultrasounds with me because of DS#1's kidney problems, so there was no mistaking what we were seeing, but I kept saying to the tech, "Are you SURE it's a boy????" I had just been so certain he was going to be a girl. It was nothing like my preg with DS#1 so I just couldn't believe it. She ended up having the radiology Dr come in and make sure she was right because I was just so shocked.

That quiz is just too dang long for my attention span. Suffice it to say that no I have never been arrested and I am pretty sure I have never done anything I should have been arrested for. A couple of friends and I thought we were going to be arrested in high school 'cause we were ice blocking at a park and these two cops wallked up. My best friend and I sat there on the ice blocks trying to look all nonchallant and finally she blurts out "So are you arresting us or what?" The officer says "No, you're on public property. We'd only cite you if you were on a golf course. We just want to see you actually do it." So off we went down the hill.

Hello all!

Princess, hope things go good today, I thought of you first thing this morning when I got up and realized it was Weds.

That quiz was to long, but I haven't been arrested. I've been pulled over three times for stupid stuff, not having a plate on the front of my mother's car, not using my blinker and this idiot cop thought I didn't have my seatbelt on. I got tickets for the first two and the third one the cop came up, saw that I had on my belt and asked me if I had just put it on. When I told him no, he said it looked like I had and I told him that I didn't, I always wear my belt. As he was walking away he said it again and I yelled out the window "Well I didn't, I always wear my seatbelt" I guess he was in a good mood cause he kept walking.

My neighbor who was sort of a third grandma to me growing up always put netting sort of like tulle over her berry bushes to the birds couldn't get them.


It is raining here and has been since last night. We are soooo short of rain here that it is really a good thing. My grass may not totally die before we get a sprinkler system installed. Oh yeah, what I have figured out since getting two more bids is that the first guy was way over covering the lawn and the second guy was underdoing it. The next two came in in the middle and both have pretty close to the same amount of sprinklers.
