Zack is an amazing little creature. He starts on Wednesday, but we had a welcome party this week. The teacher tested him on his letters, his colors, and shapes and talked to him for about 20 mins. She then took me into the room and talked to me. She said he is more than prepared to start school (who said you can't learn anything from watching hours of ESPN :rotfl: ) and that he is well spoken and smart. Zack seems to be have two different people stuck in his little body- one is what we refer to as home Zack and the other is public Zack. I wish I saw a little more of public Zack.
As a side note, the teacher called him into the room and took him by the hand and I looked up and actually saw him as a little boy and not my toddler anymore. He looked so big to me in that moment :guilty: .
As for the olympics, We went to some of the public events and down to the medal plaza but having just moved into a new home and putting our paperwork into to adopt our first baby, we couldn't afford any $500 curling event tickets :lmao: (holy run on sentence!)

Are all your kids adopted?

I know what you mean; I can't believe Ainslee is a little girl now too. No more baby! We've been trying to have another one, but it's not happening for us. :guilty:

The cute bartender from Jellyrolls?
The HOT pianoman from Jellyrolls (who goes by Michael really, and was on vacation while I was there)?
Or the Hard Berry man?
Berry discussion may close us down you know.

Yup you know how they feel about fruit threads here need I mention the dreaded melon thread and it's untimely demise? :rotfl:

I did not have a Who's Mike? tag. (Although, I really could have a Who's Mike? tag only because I don't know any Mikes.) I think Miss Smartypants was referring to my 'not thinking' tag.

Yep, two boys two adoptions. We have unexplained infertility- six years of trying and no PGs, no reason to why we can't have a baby and a whole lot of frustration. Those birth control pills the first year we were married were a total waste of money :lmao: . I had a failed IVF in December and got very very sick. I want another baby so badly, I just dont feel done yet. But I'm struggling with the fact that it might never happen for us :sad2:.

If I had of posted when I first woke up, I almost could have beaten Angel, but not quite. Ben woke me up asking for his picture form. The one that he forgot to remind me to fill out last night. I am so not an early morning person. Seven-thirty I can handle--six-thirty is too early.

red (and Bb, if I'm remembering correctly from last night), there's nothing more upsetting than not being able to have a baby when you want to have a baby. :grouphug: Even though I had my older 3 kids, I wanted "just one more", which proved to be a challenge. I had three miscarriages before I found out that I had low progesterone. Losing those pregnancies was so hard and I was ready to give up, wondered why I was pushing my luck, not being satisfied with what I had, etc, etc. Finally we were able to overcome it and have Jake. Of course Jake proved to be a challenge! :rotfl2:

Morning!

Looks to be a lovely windswept, torrential rain day around here. :umbrella: Nice little tropical storm to round out the week. :thumbsup2

Come hell or highwater, maybe both :teeth: I am leaving work by 3:00 today. I am going to stop at the Target, get me a Starbucks and look at the clearance. Then I will go home, put on my nightgown and take a nap. Whoo Hoo.
