Chuck--that's very sweet of you to say. I honestly just decided to let go. Not give up, but let go. I stopped identifying myself as "Cancer Woman" and started just living my life again. This disease can take over and consume your entire life if you let it. My life had to start being about me again and not about my next dr appt.
Kudos to your granny too! The survival rate for ovarian cancer in 2005 was only 50%. I imagine in 1974 it was far lower. Your granny must have been quite scrappy to keep going that long!
