dw is highlky allergic to soy, wanna guess how much fun thatmakes grocery shopping,, convience food shopping,, etc?

kfc.. nope.

chef boyardee.. nope

canned chili

Good evening all! Had a nice dinner and refrained from smackin the crap out of someone. We were supposed to meet for dinner at 6:30. I got there a little after 6 just after another person and she and I went in and gave my name and got the flying saucer thingy. Then she and I went outside to wait for the 3 others who were coming. The next person showed up 5 min. later and I tried to call another one to see if they may have had a late parent. There wasn't an answer so I waited about 10 min and called again. She and the other lady were inside and were already eating. It was all I could do not to ream them both out, I was the one paying and they got there early and decided to go ahead and get a table and order an appetizer. And they put us in a booth that was big enough for 4 and there were 5 of us. But dinner was nice and afterward I went to the football field to watch my friends sons practice. The rain we had cooled things off and it was nice to just sit and watch.

I love the days when I actually refrain from smackin the crap out of someone, makes me feel like I should get a gold star or something. I'm glad that dinner turned out alright though.

It was pretty good, but how bad is it that I was comparing the food with WDW food. The chicken was good but not as good as Flame Trees, the pulled pork was nice and tender but not as good as Whispering Canyon and the Key Lime pie was not as tart as any I had there.

DH and I do the exact same thing. The free dining thing has totally messed us up, we came back last year from our trip and went out to eat and sat there and look at the check like a bunch of dorks. My parents went with us last year and even my Dad who is anti-Disney said he loved the food and that free dining messed him up too. I made the recipe for the Flame tree BBQ sauce and it was pretty close to the real thing, it helped with the Disney Homesickness.

I have failed in my mission

My goal was to bring all the invitations to the post office today. Last night my son gave a couple of more addresses so I got up early and put those together. As I stood there looking at the mountain of invitations and feeling so proud of myself that I did it, I remembered something...........

I'm using a sealing wax and stamp on the back of the envelopes! At the time that I bought that stuff I thought it would be a nice touch.

So here I sit, a failure. <sigh>

I don't have time to get that part done before the post office closes today as I yard sale on Saturday mornings. I can't not go because I ebay and that's where I get all my stuff from and I'll be gone the next 2 weekends so I really can't miss today.

WAH! I guess Monday will have to do unless I get home early enough to seal those things.
BTW has anyone done that before? It seems easy enough.

oh well, I suppose it could be worse, like the kittens tearing them up. They are fiesty little critters!
