Woke up to a 2 hour school delay. Good for the kids, but doesn't help me any. Bummer! So I'm sitting here makng my shopping list and my dining roonm lights go out. Weird, other lights are on. So I check the lamp in the living room. That doesn't work either. The plug in the dining room I'm plugged into for my laptop is working though. So I must have blown a fuse but it seemd odd since it didn't blow when I turned the lights on, only after they have been on. I can't go check because the fuse box is downstairs where Jeff and Anna are sleeping and I don't want to wake them up.
So I am sitting in the dark trying to make a list of the billion things to do today.


Oh and we officialy got 11.5" of snow yesterday for a December total of almost 34".

Last night was exhausting. After spending the better part of a day and evening with 5 kids, I am thankful I'm done reproducing. With 4 kiddos 3 and under and a 13 year old who thinks it's funny to make them all squeal and run in circles, I about lost what was left of my mind.

Today I need to bake all the cutout sugar cookies so we can decorate them all tomorrow.

Good morning! I'm off to the shelter soon to take care of the kitties. I sure wanted to sleep later this morning, though.

I have no idea. They will all be here tomorrow too, AND my 11 year old neice AND my two loud sisters. Having them all in the house at once is challenging enough, but we're going to attempt to decorate several dozen cookies with frosting and sprinkles, and we're going to let the kids help.

I'm telling you guys... I've lost my mind.

Hello my friends. I had a migraine all night, I took some meds this morning, but it feels like a strong one.

I watched the CUTEST show on animal planet today. I couldn't get on the computer until my meds kicked in, so I found this show. It was about this lady running a wildlife rescue place. She also had domestic animals that people would bring her because they didn't want them anymore. So she made this pet lending library. She'd have kids come and they could check out pets to keep for a week. Every time they did they got their card punched. When they had 20 punches, they got to choose any animal they had taken home. It was so cute. One little girl only chose rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and other cute cuddly stuff. But the other little girl took snakes, turtles, cockroaches, and some of the cuddlies too. At the end the first little girl chose a bunny she named Butterscotch, and the other little girl picked a dog that had been abandoned there. It was a nice show. I liked it.
