Booking Epcot Fireworks Cruise?

I'm hoping for any tips on how to successfully book an Epcot Fireworks Cruise. We have our first 3 generation family trip coming up and we're hoping to do the cruise on my grandson's birthday. My 60 day window hasn't come just yet, but I've been "practicing" at midnight with no success. For anyone who has been successful did you just keep refreshing the calendar page until the date changed? Thanks.

That's really interesting - almost like they don't have all the cruises listed yet 60 days out. Just checking now and I only see a cruise available 9/3, nothing else. They're popular, but I'm not sure they're that popular. Might be worth a call to 407-WDW-PLAY line to ask a cast member what they might be seeing. In the past, that was the option to book, not online! There are only 5 boats each night for the Luminous cruise - seems odd they'd all be gone a couple minutes after midnight. Good luck - it's a really special evening on the lake!

Sometimes new inventory isn’t loaded on schedule. Then later on a string of dates will open together at some random time/date. People often start a board to track it and whoever finds it open first can alert the others following that thread.

I recognize this thread is a few months old and OP's trip would've already come and gone, but this thread came up for me in preparing to get the Epcot fireworks cruise for my own trip-- so I'm sharing my own observations and results in case it helps others.

My target date to book an Epcot cruise for was either 1/5 or 1/7, and last night at midnight I successfully got 1/5, when that date opened up for me at 60+2 tied to the window for my on-site resort reservation. This morning I noticed that date appeared to be sold out. No idea if I got the last one or not.

This seems to have been in line with my keeping an eye on other late December /early January dates and as I had another booking window open up to 60+3 earlier in the week. Anecdotally, these seem to sell out roughly around 60, 60+1, or 60+2. Maybe it becomes more available at other times of the year, but OP's original observation that these seem to sell out by the 60 day mark seems to be fairly consistent. Note: I didn't take a look at MK fireworks cruises, this was for Epcot only.

Hope this helps someone! I'd definitely recommend prioritizing this at midnight on a day when you can book at least a little ahead of the 60 day mark as an on-site guest. Off-site guests might need to be extremely extremely lucky to book this.

We love the EPCOT FW cruises and have only ever gotten a boat when booking 60+2 or 3 days out. With only 5 boats, they seem to go very quickly - and we even go more 'off season' than peak. Glad you got your night. It's a fun evening going around the lake at night, munching on more junk food, and ending the night with Luminous - and then watching the wave of people heading for the exits while we leisurely float back to the marina!
