12 year old attitude. Save me!
So he didn't like the idea of not getting his own cash and having me pay for everything he needed, so we started giving him cash. Now he doesn't like having cash and us insisting on him paying for things himself.
He won't do chores unless he's reminded to do them, so he says it's our fault if it doesn't get done because we don't remind him, but if I remind him, he wants to do it later, and if I say now, he's mad.
He lost his hoodie, which I bought for him, but since we are down to one car and we tend to stop at the store on the way home now and he doesn't have the opportunity to go to a store, not that he wants to spend his precious cash anyway, but since he can't get to a store to buy a hoodie, it is now my responsibility to buy him a new hoodie, thus it is my fault he has nothing to wear when it's cold, despite the fact that he has two zip front sweat jackets and a coat. But those are lame.
ERGO, I am ruining his entire life. At which point I remind him I am the reason he has a life. For which I get a glare and a "FINE!" Stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp, slam!
