My teaching partner is out and the district is short 30something subs, so I'm juggling two classes today. I had to see them both in, get both settled, get two lunch counts, two attendances and get the spelling tests out of the way. Then I got them split and sent half to another teacher, who wanted to tell me she couldn't take them. Too darn bad! She has another class she's taking this afternoon. I said we could talk to the AP about the afternoon, but this morning, she will have to absorb them. I took the discipline issues myself. Now they are taking a reading test. It's going to be a loooooong day.

It was late and we looked, but thought you may be gone for the day (and we couldn't get in the VIP building...didn't see you in there unless you've turned into a heavy set woman with brown hair)

So my spiral down the drain this week seems to be letting up a tiny bit. I've been very down this week and weepy. The boy has been sick, which hasn't helped. Because he's sick he's not sleeping, which doesn't help. But I'm gonna get my jolly on this weekend if it kills me. I'm planning a trip to see Santa with the kids, tree purchase, the girl is going to a cookie making party, I'm going shopping for my exchange person and I'm baking with the girl on Sunday. I'll either get my jolly on or kill someone. One of the two.

I am not going to get my jolly on for a couple of weeks, moving and such, but dammit...I will get it.

I just got a call for a second interview for the interview I had yesterday! I told them I was already offered something else, so I would have to know by the end of next week, I go back to meet with the head guy on Monday! YAY

This job would suit me better I think...if I could get it. And it's closer to home.
