I've been on a three day. We did a land/sea package a couple of years ago. We really enjoyed it. It was our first time cruising and we weren't sure if we would like it. I've had the fever ever since.

Hello I am not sulking. I am not in the witness protection program. I am not up to my elbows in flour, sugar, eggs and butter. I am on sabatical.

My pupper and I have taken long meaningful walks in the woods where I have let my disco fever rage while listening to my iPod and he's gotten in touch with his inner hunter chasing squirrels off leash.

I found the bottom of the laundry pile.

I've gone through some of the boxes in the spare room I've been meaning to get to for almost 2 years and found our wedding pictures.

I'm reading some books I should have read long ago. It would have done me some good.

I'm spending evenings with my back to the monitor and getting some face time with my husband. He's sorta cute and I kinda like him when he's not being too arrogant.

Oh, and I figured out, if we go to bed at 10 and turn the lights out by 12, I get up earlier but I feel much better and much more rested. This gives me time to actually accomplish something during the day. Who'd have guessed? I was up at 8:15 today

Anyway, I just needed to step back, get some things together and rearrange some priorities. I'll be back more often soon but I'm not really gone. I check in once or twice a day even if I don't post.

But sorry, no cookies this year so you can stop watching your mailboxes

Good for you! I know alot of times I reflect of how much time I have spent here and on msn at night while I should have been hanging with my kids and DH. I know many a nights he was miffed I wasn't spending time with him (especially after being here all day) yet I did nothing about it. I can easily see how it can cause a riff and distance in your family, certainly not anything I want. One reason too I haven't been around as much. Now with the holidays approaching and so much to do, even more reason to resist losing valuable time.
I enjoy hanging out here and chatting but there is a balance that needs to be struck and mine was way off. Guess this is the time of year to reflect on such matters.

Anyho, off to more decorating. Miss you all!

Hello! Made it back safely and am glad to be home even if it is awfully chilly outside. I couldn't figure out what the sandy looking stuff was when we were starting our desent on the airplane until we were a little lower and I realized it was the snow still on the ground (in the shady areas). Florida weather is sounding pretty good right now. I'm catching up on the Survivors that I missed and will then take a nap and head to the high school play this evening. Maybe I'll catch you all later and find out what you all have been up to.

Just wrapped a few presents. Ds came downstairs from his bed and said he wanted to sleep on the couch. Thank God I only had stuff for dh and dd out to wrap. I put the stuff from back out in the garage so he wouldn't see it.

I'm watching It's a Wonderful Life. I've been watching Christmas movies allllll day.

It will not tell you if it was denied. sortof, you have to check on your friends request section, and will see if it is still pending or not. If it is gone, they have denied.

I just turn on my itunes they just do not make shows like they use to dallas, knots landing, fantasy island, quincy


I only like a couple shows out there, Bones and House MD. Like the Ghost Whisperer also.

Took much to do besides watch those others shows

I will take an action packed suspense drama anyday over them! no offense though -- or a good book, Freidman, Johanneson, Gardener, Patterson, the books that keep your brain wondering
