Well, Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great day. I wil try to read back in a bit. Looks like I am going to have a quiet night to myself.

I went to take a nap after lunch due to my extremely late night last night and being awakened by the children at 6:30 this morning. We have a cheese and sausage lunch with crackers and nibbles. Then a big dinner of Beef Wellington.

Well, when I slept a bit longer than I intended to and when I got up no cooking was going on. (DH and FIL always cook) And then about an hour or so later DH fed the kids left over tacos for dinner and he and his dad just had more crackers and cheese and sausage. MIL is off to bed.

WTH is CHRISTMAS DINNER? So far DH has given me no explaination and I haven't been able to ask with his parents around. I am guessing that it is postponed until tomorrow? WHY?

Not being able to be in control this Christmas is driving me insane.

Amie...I can't thank you enough..the Wii is a big hit with everyone!!!! Including me, my mom and DH. It has been the hit of the day.

Please don't hurt yourself! How is Carnival Games? Jake wants to buy it, but I don't know much about it.

Ron, Jake, and I went into DC and saw the National Christmas tree. It was beautiful. Around that tree are state trees--small trees (around 6') that are decorated for each state. Some states were better than others for sure. There was also a yule log burning, which was neat (and I took a [lousy] picture that I sent to Aimee). I felt like I was at WDW with the crowds.

Now I'm sitting here drinking my hot chocolate.

Well, after everyone kept me up late last night and exhausted me they have all now abandoned me! MIL went to bed at 9. DH and FIL headed to bed about 20 minutes ago. But I took a 3 hr. nap earlier because I was so tired and was afraid I would be kept up late again-- so now I am good to go until about midnight. Bored and alone and DISing again.

Wonder if I can play with the kids presents?

Found out what happened to dinner. Apparently at some point after the 2 glasses of wine with lunch I casually mentioned that we were all going to be so full we would have to just have dinner tomorrow. They thought I was SERIOUS! So they didn't make dinner.

Oh well, gives FIL and DH something to do tomorrow.

we had a very relaxing easy day. spent most of it in our jammies. oh and its official i have lost too much weight to wear htese pants with out a belt.

Kathryn and I are shaking our heads at you wearing socks with your fuzzy Crocs.

OK, I was gonna have one of my "You Idiot" posts for my DS, but figured in the spirit of Christmas, I would just leave this one alone, but....

Merle, Uh, I think that is the whole point behind the fuzzy part of the croc hon, so you don't need to wear socks.

yesterday I work ankle socks with mine, yikes they got hot very quickly, definitely no socks here from now on

The main reason for the socks is I knew at some point today the shoes would have to come off and I didn't want to walk around my Aunt's house barefoot. I am in serious need of a pedicure and I really don't like to walk barefoot in other peoples houses, other than MM's.
