Yes, Caro, parents are gone. I sure am not the daughter they wanted. Mom wanted a model pretty fashion plate who does it all and never breaks her smile. Dad didn't want another kid at all, I think, he was happy with just the namesake. Instead they got me.

HI! Crazy busy day. Just got a call that they fed my kid something he's allergic to, so it looks like I get to deal with puke for a while.

I'm going to stop at the UPS store on the way home tonight to mail my package...(you know that sounds a little dirty).

I'm supposed to go out of town tomorrow, so I'm watching the weather closely.

I so agree with you on this one.......my person never did list anything even after I begged and pleaded...so Im off tonight to the galleria in Hoover to try and find something. I looked around here this morning and nothing...it doesnt help that its someone I dont really know that well.
So,when my person gets my gift I hope they dont think Im an idiot. I will find something tonight and mail it in the morning.

gonna eb 73 tomorrow then drop to 37 so you can bet your sweet bippy we will have a tornado somewhere, 7 years ago tomorrow we had the same kind of weather and by the time it was over my house was 4 feet from where it used to be

then Sunday night its gonna be 24.....hang on gotta add long johns to my shopping list.

I don't understand your parents. We shouldn't expect children to look and act exactly like we want them to, but instead should love and respect how they turn out. And you're a wonderful person.


I'm back from the dr with Zach. He has fluid behind one eardrum, which is starting to get infected. He also has the beginnings of bronchitis, so the antibiotic will take care of that. They also gave him an inhaler since his chest was tight--the first time he's had an inhaler in lots of years.

Alyssa and my grandkitty just got home. They'll be here until the end of January.

Time to think about dinner.
