I don't HAVE the iguana, Thing 1's science teacher needs to rehome him. He's too aggressive for the classroom. We used to have a huge female that was sort of aggressive too, and we knew how to handle her. We just threw a towel over her to handle her. That way she couldn't whip us with her tail. That stings!

Other than the chest congestion and a little shortness of breath (which I didn't find out about until we were driving there today) he's feeling fine. He opted for the flu shot today, too. Something about being as sick as a dog a couple years with the flu makes him want the flu shot.


Pixie, maybe after the holidays we can get together for lunch again?

Phew....I'm pooped!

I've been kicking butt around this house for 2 days and it finally looks decent. Boy have I really let it go! I got rid of a lot of crap that's been piling up on every available surface, vaccumed and mopped, put away a slew of boxes, etc, etc, etc. Tomorrow I'll finish the last of the decorating (or maybe tonight) and then aside for some dusting, which you can't really do at night, and finish the bathroom it'll look pretty darn good around here! I can't wait. Did you know I had a desk.
After Christmas I am buckling down and getting back on board with flylady. I was so in control then!

DH should be home soon too! He's been gone since Monday.

Be back shortly, bringing Ty somewhere.

Who else has never used the self-cleaning part of their oven?

I have never used it on this oven or any other that I've had. But last night I had to make dh some little weinie things to take to work and the brown sugar and bacon grease dripped out of the pan and all over the side of my oven. It was a burnt on mess. So I self cleaned it and it looks gorgeous.

Modern technology can be awesome!
