Good Morning! The DIS is soooo slow. I need to get caught up fast. Sheesh.

4s, I hope Ty feels better.

I think you need a raise. :rolleyes1
Can you please tell my boss? Truth of the matter, I left half of the stuff out. :scared1:

I'm going for a walk!:cool1: If I am not back in an hour call Shug and have her drive over with Mr. Roadie and drag my butt off the road and back on to my couch.

In reality I am just going to try to get down my driveway and maybe around the circle in front of my house. I should be back in a few mintues.

Mourning. 'Tis a balmy 36 degrees with pouring rain, and my parents may not leave.

I have someone attempting to treat me like a doormat at work. I am showing them that I can stand up and be a wall.

My son approached me last night at 9 asking for a trifold for 8th period today. He will not have it. I was not running out at 9 because he decided to mention it then. And no one will leave work for it either.......I can't, and I told him it isn't his dad's problem to support his irresponsibility. Then this morning, he was asking math questions. He had undone homework. I couldn't tell the difference between #2 and #5 on his paper, and neither could dh. I told him answer both the same, and he'll get one right. :confused3

A ukulele shortage huh? Maybe I should go out and buy a bunch and put them on ebay!

I''m back! Did anyone miss me? :teeth:

At the risk of you all hating me--it is gorgeous here! Supposed to be in the 70's. So after my 5 min walk I came back in and it was already getting hot inside so I decided I wanted to just go sit outside. Of course it is like planning a millitary operation to get all my necessary junk moved out there. Then I get myself all set up and open my laptop and realize I can't see the screen! It is too sunny.

So I have to move everything a few feet back and have to be content to sit in the garage for a few hours until the sun moves behind the house. Kind of bummed since there is a great breeze I am missing, but my allergies will probably thank me.

Foot was good after the walk. But by the time I got everything moved and got myself settled outside it is throbbing so I will just hangout here with it up the rest of the day. Sounds like a great plan to me!

Paige--good for you for standing up and not being a doormat to your son or coworker.

Is your parents area affected by the ice and power outages?

Why do I feel that I have to do every task given to me immediately?

Mornin'. :wave2:

I don't feel as bad as I did yesterday, but I still wish I could go back to bed. This morning DH was sniffly, so I imagine he'll come home from work and go straight to bed.

I have to go to WalMart, and I don't wanna. I have one diaper left, and I used the last of Molly's eczema cream this morning. She's breaking out again, but I think it's because the humidity has been so low here the last week or two. I need to look for a humidifier for her room. Maybe I'll see David Hasselhoff there.Did I tell you guys about that?

Robin's Weird WalMart Stories for the Week

The other day, while I was in WalMart, there was a man stocking shelves (an employee, not just some random guy). When I saw him, I stopped dead in my tracks. He looked JUST LIKE David Hasselhoff. His name was Juan or something, but it was weird.

On that same trip to WalMart, I had two other blow my mind weird things happen. First, when I was walking in to the store, the old guy in the santa suit ringing the bell greeted me by name. I studied his face carefully while I crammed my change in the bucket, but came up with nothing. Not even a hint of recognition. I figured it would come to me later, so I went in the store. When I came out to get another look, there was a young woman holding the bell. I stopped to talk to her, thinking she might know his name. I got nothing but a blank look from her. :confused3

One more... yes, on the same trip. When it was my turn to check out, I started putting my items on the belt. As the cashier was ringing them up, she was counting out loud. LOUDLY. 1...2...3....4.... I looked at her, and she stopped instantly. I thought I must have been mistaken, so I turned back to my cart. 7...8...9...

She started again, but she must have been counting the items that she scanned while I was watching in her head, because she started at a higher number. When I looked at her again, she was literally like this: :rolleyes1 It was, for lack of a better word, WEIRD. So I tested her a little. I looked away. 12..13.. I looked. :rolleyes1 I looked away again. 15...16... I looked back. :rolleyes1 I looked away. 19...20... Then I ran out of stuff.

Shopping at my local WM is always entertaining.

:lmao:

     Lots of these dear friend. My ds is irresponsible that way, too. Only I'll never know it since our 'Your child is getting left behind' school doesn't give grades (or a rat's *** about the kids but I digress).

I got some great mail today! A box from Victoria's Secret (with no bottom to my swimsuit, and some random 'C' cup bra  ), 4 pair of shoes (my patent purple boots better be shipped soon!), and coffee from Miss J. Love it!

Oh, since she's not here, and she won't read allll the way back, I have a VHS of Mr Hankey. Should I send it to Auntie Im?:rolleyes1

They were attempting last night to call their one neighbor to ask about power and ice. I don't know if they got him or not. Their phones go out when it rains, so likely not. We THINK they escaped the ice, but their area is due for snow tomorrow evening I think.

Some of the weather sites are calling for a mix for us this weekend along with the big winter snow for the rest of the country. It will get messy! I have to get my meds filled and to the post office before then.

You have got to just love ( ) those mystery boxes from VS. Sometimes it is quite the surprise what is (or isn't) inside. ;)

I really hope you enjoy the coffee.

And yes you must send Mr. Hankey video to Auntie Im! I insist!!!!! :santa:

 Sorry about the crappy school there. :sad2:

Send it!!!! :lmao:

I will send it to Auntie.:thumbsup2 I think the bonus episode is 'Tom's Rhinoplasty' or one of those classic South Park episodes.:lmao:

Yes Miss J, it is bizarre what shows up in the VS boxes.:confused3
I also got a pair of flannel pjs.:confused3 They are purple with Christmas lights all over them.:confused3 Were they a free gift? Does anyone here wear a 38C bra? I have a red one. I should print out a list of what I ordered to go compare it. I LOVE the shirts I ordered. I can wear them with my smaller jeans and not have a muffin top :yay: thanks to WW.:thumbsup2

I'm sitting here at the kitchen table, in my jammies, with a massive migraine, after sleeping in late today. I heard voices coming up the stairs and realized it was Ben's voice. I thought maybe he was home sick until he walked into the kitchen with 2 of his friends. They have a break during the day since they have college classes and came home to play Wii. :lmao: I looked at them and told them they confused the hell out of me. Ben told me that when their college classes were over for this semester that they'd have breaks most days and that I needed to stock up on food. What were we thinking getting the Wii? We already had the favored basement. Guess I'll need to start dressing before I walk downstairs in the mornings. :rotfl:

Robin, I thought the ending to your Wal-Mart story was going to be that it was a dream. :rotfl:

Holy crap, the DIS is slow. It's just about not worth waiting for!

So guess what I just realized. Today is my DIS birthday! :yay:

Hello...

TEO!

I need you to PM me your address...and your real name, I don't know that you'd like me to send something to "Teo" at your address. :rotfl:

I will have time. Nothing else to do! But I was hoping to stay awake today. I will let you know.

The Ukelele shortage is because they actually only stock 2 of them! They never expected to actually sell 3! :lmao:

So, did you happen to get that nap in for me? I could still use one!
