Ty's still sick. Fever, sore throat, headache, sore neck. Not good. But being the bad mommy I am I still have to go to work. Well, I suppose I don't have to.....
He is complaining quite a bit about a headache, it seems to be centered in the back of the head. Seems like an odd place. He says it aches but every so often he gets sharp pains. Guess I should run it by the Drs. and see what they think. I have to call anyways to make an appointment for Aaron. I just don't like being one of those run to the Drs for every illness moms. Sometimes things just need to run thir course and it's only been 2 days.

Oh, and whats the deal with ukulele's this year? Are they in high demand or something? The first one I was going to buy was backordered until January so I ordered a different one. Got a notice this morning that now that one is backordered. Is this the hot new instrument?

Yes, I know what you all are thinking as it entered my mind too. I haven't heard of any reports of it going around the school (which I would) and I also don't like over thinking things either.
I tried the neck test last night and it was fine. I didn't have him do it this morning because just watching him it didn't seem like an issue. Where he shows my it hurts seem to corrospond with where the glands are located.

How many ukuleles do you need? Didn't you buy one in WDW?

The one I bouth there i basically a toy. Ty wants a real one. He has been playing the one I got there and thats how he got interested in it. I just want a better quality one.

I did not know!
I was thinking of making it for Christmas, but then I realized that we get home on the 23rd from Garmisch and MAYBE we could go to the base to go to the bakery on Christmas Eve, but the fresh baguettes will not taste that good the next day. Maybe sometime that week? Oh, we don't have any fuel and I won't be getting an electric fondue pot by then.

I don't feel as bad as I did yesterday, but I still wish I could go back to bed. This morning DH was sniffly, so I imagine he'll come home from work and go straight to bed.

I have to go to WalMart, and I don't wanna. I have one diaper left, and I used the last of Molly's eczema cream this morning. She's breaking out again, but I think it's because the humidity has been so low here the last week or two. I need to look for a humidifier for her room. Maybe I'll see David Hasselhoff there.Did I tell you guys about that?

Robin's Weird WalMart Stories for the Week​

The other day, while I was in WalMart, there was a man stocking shelves (an employee, not just some random guy). When I saw him, I stopped dead in my tracks. He looked JUST LIKE David Hasselhoff. His name was Juan or something, but it was weird.

On that same trip to WalMart, I had two other blow my mind weird things happen. First, when I was walking in to the store, the old guy in the santa suit ringing the bell greeted me by name. I studied his face carefully while I crammed my change in the bucket, but came up with nothing. Not even a hint of recognition. I figured it would come to me later, so I went in the store. When I came out to get another look, there was a young woman holding the bell. I stopped to talk to her, thinking she might know his name. I got nothing but a blank look from her.

One more... yes, on the same trip. When it was my turn to check out, I started putting my items on the belt. As the cashier was ringing them up, she was counting out loud. LOUDLY. 1...2...3....4.... I looked at her, and she stopped instantly. I thought I must have been mistaken, so I turned back to my cart. 7...8...9...

She started again, but she must have been counting the items that she scanned while I was watching in her head, because she started at a higher number. When I looked at her again, she was literally like this: It was, for lack of a better word, WEIRD. So I tested her a little. I looked away. 12..13.. I looked. I looked away again. 15...16... I looked back. I looked away. 19...20... Then I ran out of stuff.

Shopping at my local WM is always entertaining.
