I do not know if everyone knows or not, but her and I are not close at all. She is a piece of artwork, let me tell ya. I have tried to get along with that woman, no matter what, she is not one to get along with.

I put it on the CB cause, as I explained in the OP, there is no way it won't go OT and get chatty etc... Besides, everyone that really will be interested is probably here anyway. If the mods don't like it they will move it.

I figured we can all kind of post our perspectives and stories. I was going to try to keep it going day by day. Please try to wait for me to wait to post the day before you move on to the stories from that day.

Oh, and if anyone besides Angel does NOT want their photo posted or any specific non pointworthy photos posted let me know.

Can you believe my good luck? It was turkey/dressing/potatoes/gravy/fruit salad/cranberry sauce/green beans/sweet potatoes day at school! I'm stuffed. I'm a lucky chickie.

Scrappy was hysterical the whole trip. I have never seen anyone laugh so much. She just makes you happy. It's infectious.

OMG, that sounds so delicious! I can't wait for Thanksgiving - just not sure where it will be this year.

I am jealous. But Shug and I gave up our LTT turkey dinner to stay at Epcot to see Illuminations since I never get to see it. And it was worth it! I will have to figure out what day is Turkey day at Cracker Barrell. :

Well my mother has emailed me. She has decided we should all go to my brother's in New Orleans for Christmas. My brother has a one bedroom apartment in a part of a large mansion that has been carved into apartments. We are to fit 6 more adults and 3 children plus a tree, gifts and stockings in there? He has a tiny kitchen and we are to cook in it? No dining room, where do we eat? And here's the rub, she has not yet mentioned this to my brother. She wanted to see if we would come first? Well don't you want to see if he would host it before you start inviting people to HIS house?

We only have the jeep to transport anything in, no way we can bring anything, but she says she and dad can bring our things. We can work around the small kitchen. she has umpteen million places she wants the kids to see, and she wants Thing 2 to ride a bus, how often has he been on a bus she says? Um, all over WDW!!!!!!

Paige, what a headache. Why is it that our parents make us feel guilty and stressed every holiday? I vow to never do this kind of stuff to my kids.

I'm going to buy a turkey. A really big one so I can have leftovers. Anyone who would like to join me for Thanksgiving is welcome.

I mentioned to Mom that we didn't really have any travel budget, since we'd have expenses for the transportation, dog boarding and food at least......and probably more than that, you know how it is when you go elsewhere, not to mention that I have no idea what days off dh has, if he even cares to spend any time with them at all, I have NO desire to see them, my dad and brother will smoke like chimneys, Thing 1 already requested to stay home for Christmas, and there is no way to do a traditional Christmas the way I like it with that many people with different ideas in one house. Plus my brother and my other brother's wife despise each other and always fight, AND my family has no idea that dh and I are having troubles, and I don't really feel like explaining it to them. My brother stays up all night, so I can't get my kids to bed..........it's just a bad idea.

MIL has pneumonia and they have admitted her to the hospital -- DH just called to tell me, and he is being an ***, I told him we have to get things in order with our DD and all he could do is make jokes, so I hung up on him

Oh Deb, that's what mine does. I always tell him I can't get a straight answer about the simplest things. I can ask what flavor ice cream he wants and it takes 5 freakin' minutes to get an answer. It's sooo frustrating.

Yes they are comfy...I have a pair of grey mickey ones...but I dont like the sweat factor and dont even mention socks they are spawn of satan...I guess Im gonna have to work on it tho.

I need to plan for Thanksgiving. I think I'm going to cook at my house and uninvite the rest of my family this year. Way too much headache and drama going on.

I think we are going to the Clubhouse at my sisters. I think she said it was a buffett dinner, whatever it is there's no clean up. I may get a small turkey to make though, just so I can have leftover sandwiches and turkey dishes for a week after.
