Morning :surfweb:

While I'm very happy to have DH home from the hospital, I am more exhasted than I ever was:scared:

Please tell me that my mom will understand why my house is a disaster when she comes tomorrow.

Ash, I am beside myself over missing it. I am so sorry.

Tiff knows.

I am still not happy with my "friends" here that never botherd to track me down for Ash. SOMEONE could have called me. :sad1:

Does that mean I'm not your friend anymore?

I don't have my ME stuff either. Guess that means we have to get our own luggage and take it to them? We still get to ride it right?

Of course she'll understand Aimee! :hug:

And Robin, if I knew you cleaned houses I would have had you here cleaning mine this weekend instead of me doing most of it.

Okay, I just watched the weather again. You were right, Scrappy, it's a 30% chance of rain across the board through Sunday (with the exception of today and tomorrow). Highs around 84 Thurs-Sun, Lows around 70. Basically, humid with a few showers here and there, but not too hot. :thumbsup2

Tig, the tropical storm is pretty far south of us right now, near Cuba and the Keys. Hopefully it won't double back in the Gulf and come back across FL, but even if it does, it should just mean more rain.

You mom will understand, if not pull the Andy card :cool2: ;)

OK, for everyone volunteering to head on over to the looney bin...I can arange for that to happen...just sayin' :rolleyes1

Hey, does this mean that I am the nice one? :teeth:
NO!!:mad: :mad:
Good morning! Have I mentioned how comfortable hospital chair bed things are? Could someone please tell me who designed these things so that I can hunt them down and make them sleep in one for the rest of their life!

It wasn't my fault, honest!

yea, whatever! DH says that the administrators who buy these things should have to sleep in one for a night before purchasing. And of course should have the noise, light, and constant interruptions to go along with it.

Your mom will understand. :hug: You want me to come clean it for you?

Awe, thanks Robin. You ARE the nice one ;)

I think it's okay. It's not what it would usually look like when she would come to visit, but it's not that bad. Tom is the house cleaner though, so I will just have to buck up and get er done :sad2:

Psssht. I don't clean houses. In fact, Aimee, if you mom gives you crap about your house, send her to mine for a little perspective.

The first Noel, the angel did say,
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the the East, beyond them far;
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

And by the light of that same star,
Three wise men came from country far;
To seek for a King was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

This star drew night to the northwest,
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest;
And there it did both stop and stay,
Right over the place where Jesus lay.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

Then entered in those wise men three,
Full reverently upon their knee;
And offered there in his presence,
Their gold, and myrrh, and frankincense
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

Thanks David, I needed that! Especially since DH and I were supposed to be in the Western Caribbean right now instead of with our DD at the hospital. Thank God though. We would have been dealing with 10-12 foot seas. Been there done that, not doing it again!

Whenever my son is hospitalized, I've slept right in the crib with him...the actually encouraged me to do it so that he'd calm down. He's getting too big for that now, I'm dreading the chair of death. :scared:

Feeling Christmasy, Conc? Thanks for the map. So the storm shouldn't be a threat. I know I'm a true Floridian - I don't even keep track of it until it's about 12 hours out from a direct hit. :laughing:

Someone PLEASE wake me up.

WAKE UP!

How, pray tell, did you train him to do that????

I don't even want to know how you slept in the crib with him. Those things are about 8 feet off the ground and the size of a cereal box. I'm impressed.
BTW, I like chair of death. I'm going to use that from now on.

Well, the first time he went in, the nurse looked at me, looked at the crib and said "it holds up to 300 pounds".... The cribs at the hospital where my son is admitted (different from where I work because of where I live) are really big...he will probably still go into the crib for another year or two.
