MM- have you seen the latest Ding dates? I'm being optimistic!!! Nothing yet but I'm going to guess when they release the next round mine will be there. There just seems to be too many available flights. Here's hoping. Oh and I can still grab an air tran flight for 79 bucks.

I have to leave for work shortly. I don't like going in early.

4's, do you guys do early release on Wednesdays, too? It's been that way here for a long time, but every time I tell someone that they act like I'm nuts. I mean, I know I'm nuts, but I'm fairly certain that school lets out an hour early on Wednesdays. If not then my son has been pulling the ultimate scam on me for the last 10 years. I'm rambling. Gotta drink more coffee. Coffee coffee coffee

I used to hate early release, but I've gotten used to it, I suppose. It's nice when I have something I want to do with the kids in the afternoon. This afternoon we're going to poke around Fort Wilderness for a while and take the kids to the petting zoo if it's not raining.

DD's school (Belgian) gets out at noon every Wednesday.

It is Parent Teacher Conference days today and tomorrow for ds. We had ours at 8 am. Then they have school on Friday until 1. Then no school until Nov 5. Yeah...it's going to be like that for most of the year.

Morning. A friend is coming over this morning with her 1 year old and my house is trashed. I figure I need to at least mop and make sure there is nothing around that he can choke on.

Eh, she has been my friend for years and knows I am a slob so maybe I can skip the mopping.

I have and I sure hope one comes through! There weren't any this morning though. I think you will be fine for a few more days, as long as you get it 7 days in advance, you shoud still be able to get that $109 SW flight.

It's THE IT song/dance right now with the teenagers/tweens. Soulja Boy is a rap group and they have a dance for it.

My kids do it all the time. So people on youtube have set the rap song, to cartoons. I loved the pooh one. But go and look for the real one, they do the dance in an empty pool.

Then I guess that would be a problem, huh? Isn't somebody in charge of a date list or something? You'd think that would make it easier to see that at a glance.

In the CH there is one, with a chart.

Hi. I left school at 5 yesterday and got home at 6:30. I didn't want to drive home. I took a friend home and ended up way East and North of home, then I just pointed the car West, and drove on a road I didn't know. Figured it would take me home or not and I didn't really care which. It took me home.

I was reading a book downstairs and dh was watching TV in our room and Thing 1 came in to say something. Dh says "What do YOU want?" Not nicely at all. I told him not to be so cranky. He said "Well he doesn't have anything to say, he just comes in to bug me." I said, "He just wants to see us."

Poor Thing 1 had just said "Sorry" and walked out with his head down.

I can't stand that stuff. I can't watch it anymore, I can't deal with it. It's so not right.

He says I want to take his kids away from him. But he's constantly saying he can't handle them, they drive him crazy, they bug him, and then he is like that to them. I don't like it. They can't even talk to him about anything without him interrupting to make comments that are making fun of how they say something or just little jibes, so he never gets to hear anything they think about or experience. He won't ever listen to me and stop it.

I'm complaining again. Oh well, just don't read it.

Paige, some men just dont see how they treat the people around them. It is NO excuse, they are supposed to be the protectors etc, and for him to be like that to the kids is just wrong !
