Are religious holidays big in Maryland, Tig? I've never heard of not getting homework in a public school because of that? Very weird.
A large percentage of the population in MD is Jewish, so the kids get the major holidays off. And they aren't supposed to get homework on major holidays, at least at our elem school.

PM sent, Paigey. :sad2:

:grouphug: We stand with you Shug. I wish I were close enough to come over. I'd let you pummel me a while.

My gyno says two steps forward one step back. It feels the other way around right now. She says they agree it's not that unusual with a compromised immune system right now and that we're still ahead of the game. The game went into overtime long ago and I'm getting a little tired of playing it :sad2:

You've been playing that game long enough. When's your turn on the bench? :confused3

Good afternoon. :grouphug: Back from the doc's. The ulcer on the back of Myster's leg is starting to heal but the ones one the front :scared: not so much. They did tell us they got approval from our insurance for the procedure on the 23rd so that's good.

Doc is not sure what's up with me. I did have a stomach virus a couple of weeks ago and with my past he thinks I may still be trying to shake it off. That along with sleep deprivation. He is going to do full blood work though. I also set appt's with the gastro and the hoohaw checker. The latter should make Shug happy. :rotfl:

I have a coworker who calls it her cookie! :confused3 :rotfl:

A FEW THINGS

1)Where is Auntie Im going? I thought her dh was gone until Sunday and she had a Ficus problem?

2) When you hear Ficus, do you think of Scott Farkus from A Christmas Story?

3) Where can I buy drapes for 4 9+ feet windows (8 panels in all) without having to take out a loan (and you know they need to be colorful AND cute)???

4) Margaritas are good.

I see you mentioned Ikea later after this post but they do have cheep, nice curtains that should work.

And yes Margarita's are good! :woohoo:

oh and if you scream all of the time when you're pregnant is the baby going to come out all damaged?

Might come out with the ability to tune you out! ;)

Don't borrow trouble!! Could be something easily taken care of!

been goofing off.....off to get the weekend started...so I wont be around much , have fun without me :)

Hi guys! Just got settled in to my evening with my niece - she is playing Webkinz on one computer while I DIS on the other - I can't get into the CH from here - what's going on? PM PLEASE!

Driving to IKEA in Brussels is a long traffic filled trip. We spent a few mille there a couple weeks ago. The curtains won't work for our room, but we did buy 2 rugs and 3 bookcases, 2 dressers, and a huge thing to put in the bathroom (why isn't there a drawer in the bathroom? where do they put their crap?). All that plus little crap. It was muy expensivo.

Anyway, the curtains we bought for our bedroom won't work.

Mine didn't! Well, mostly.

Bomb, I knew it was only a matter of time until rugs were mentioned in this curtain discussion!

Shug, I left you a message in the CH. You know that I WILL drive over with no notice if I think it is necessary so you had better call me if you need anything or want some company this weekend--or with you at the Dr. on Monday.

Our vet's office is being a pain in the ***! They won't refill Sheena's pheno for her epilepsy. First they said that she's overdue for her 6 month bloodwork, but then said that she had it done in May, so that's been 5 months. Then they said that in May they only did bloodwork and she needs a physical, but we have records showing that she got all her shots at that time, so obviously she had a physical at that time. But the idiot on the phone said I declined the physical at that time. AND she said that when the animal is in there there's no charge for a physical. WTH? Why would I decline a free physical? Makes NO sense. I'm holding my ground on this, however she has to have the meds. The bloodwork is expensive, though, and I'm not anxious to spend $ that is very tight right now until I have to spend it. :headache:

And my head is starting to hurt more, but I'm driving Zach and friends to the football game soon so can't take more drugs. I want to cry. :sad2: I hate stupid people!

Yay, DH brought the boys to the football game so now I can have more drugs. I'm wondering if it was the chinese food I had yesterday for lunch and today leftover that's causing this headache. :headache:

Wow. I didn't realize today is the anniversary of the USS Cole bombing. Dh lead the communications installation crew on the restoration. He got a commendation today for his outstanding work. I'm so proud of him. I remember him coming home at night and talking about them finding fingers and other small body parts while they were working. They thought at first they'd have to scrap it, it's amazing they were able to repair it.

Amazing and kinda freaky, I'd feel weird on that ship.

Tig, my vet's office just sent me a card saying Disney is due for a booster. Hello? He was just there?

Trouble in the Vz house. Not a fun night here.

Calling my daddy has always made me feel better. He doesn't sound good tonight. My gut keeps telling me it's not going to be all that long. He's 76, it's not a shocker but still:guilty: I love my daddy :sad1: For his sake I do hope I outlive him. If I didn't it would kill him. :sad1:

yw snowy, ;)
tig hope your head feels better.
Paige, sorry about that.

Getting ready to go get the DN's for the weekend. See you all later.
