Well shoot I was going to post SOMETHING here and I forgot what. :confused3

I found it. I'm sorry 4's. I hope it all works out for them.

I'm going to go find a movie to watch.

Good night :wave2:

Where is that from, Merle?

From a thread about this Canadian couple who had to come to a US hospital to have their quads. The nearest Canadian hospitals NICU was overcrowded so they sent them to a NICU here and the thread was about people coming here to have their babies and to get citizenship for them so that they can steal our services.

So in addition to my story that put me in a crappy mood let me tell you what else happened today.
My dads been having some problems with his legs. They are very very weak and almost got to a point where he couldn't walk. Well, he couldn't except for a few feet. The Drs. are not quite sure what is causing it but through a course of steroids, other meds and PT he's been getting a little better but still uses a rolling walker for stability.
So I travelled out there to take him to an appointment and he did so good getting up and down the stairs, in and out of the car, at the restaurant. It was such a great day spending it with my dad. When we got back to his house he was going up the stairs and got to the last one and fell. Thankfully he fell "up" onto the porch instead of backwards down them! The neighbor across the street happened to be out and saw it and rushed over to help. Of course the neighbor is elderly too so it was hard getting him back up. We finally did and then got him into the house. It just scared me so bad. Not only to see him fall and feel so helpless but to see him in such a state.
I love my dad with all my heart and we are so close. I just can't bear to see him this way and to think he could get worse. I know he's getting older and I know that people's health will start to fail but he's my dad, he's infallible! This has been a truly sucky day!

But my Dh did take me out for dinner so that was nice.

Well I am headed home, going to get Chinese food tonight. My treat after a hectic day. Only upset a couple people, so all and all a pretty tame day. One said, not to my face mind you, that I had anger issues. :rotfl:

Shoot, I coulda told ya that!

:
My youngest neice had that, hers was fixed when she was a few months old and they just clipped it with scissors in the Dr.'s office. Her sister cried more than she did.

Yes, Zoe was tongue tied. I figured it out when she was 3 months old...so had her clipped. It was nasty, but she survived. It really was easy and fast, but just that pop when the doc cut it, :scared: . It bled really bad too, but she didn't cry long at all. My 3 year old never recovered though..LOL!

Morning to all.

I have about a million things to do today, so I don't know if I'll be around.

We can't go to the Navy game and barbque because of my FIL's health (they were our babysitters). So, we're going to do errands all day.

My strange dream last night...

In another amusement park (what's up with that?). This time I think it was Disney. Tig was with me but then she disappeared. I went on the fantastic Roller Coaster that was, I think, actually the Griffin (which I've never been on). I had my backpack with me and was really concerned that it was going to fall. Then as I was flying down the hills, I saw The Flash and The Green Lantern and they waved at me. Then I went over to them and cooked them breakfast. :confused3

Morning. Koolaid baby, I wish I was riding roller coasters with Tig and cooking breakfast in my dreams. :rotfl:

Had a series of rough ones again last night and kept waking up all night long. The most memorable one involved a family I was nannying for, and the boys' pet died. The parents didn't want to bring it home to bury and he did. The grandmother decided we would walk home and bring it. We had to bring wagons and stuff. The little boy had something he was carrying and so did his sister, and I had a heavy wagon to pull (with the dead pet) and some other items........dishes of the kids' lunch. The grandmother wouldn't help carry, not even the lunches. She was Asian too, and the kids were blond, so that was interesting. Anyway, the way we went was through staircases connecting condos and going up. They were all connected in a block going up. But we had to get over kitchen counters to get to the staircases and there was no way around them, so we would have to climb over and I'd have to pull the wagon over. I kept telling the grandmother to help, but she wouldn't. That dream didn't finish. I woke up before we made it home.
