P's do you have any idea how the crowds are at WDW starting Jan 1st? Im trying to move my trip up from March, before the kids go back to school on the 9th.

Paige, do you and your dh split the cost of things? I've known other married people who do that, too... even have separate checking accounts. I think it would confuse me.

Yes we do, we always have. We were room mates before anything else. We have separate checking too, but both our names are on both........though I never use his and he never uses mine.

P's do you have any idea how the crowds are at WDW starting Jan 1st? Im trying to move my trip up from March, before the kids go back to school on the 9th.

For the same reason that you want to go the first week of January, so do thousands of others. It's not a week that I would go to the park, but I have a little more flexibility living close by. When you're coming from out of town you go when you can. I'd plan for crowds. Where are you guys staying?

I am not a crowd person. I feel like everyone is breathing my air, and touching me. Guess it will be March 15-23 then. Of course that is spring break. I hope to use dads timeshare. Either way we will stay off site.

they are good..although with school back the little one has a mild panic attack every time I go down the hallway to the bathroom or to swap the laundry out..Im worn out from her already.

Ack! That might not be much better! The weather is absolutely gorgeous in March, though. That alone makes it a better time to go. The flip side is that the Christmas stuff is still up in January. Tough call, Teo.

I know how that feels. Patrick does that to me and it makes me EXHAUSTED!! My girls start school on Thursday, but, to be honest, I'm counting the days until Aug. 28. That's when Patrick's preschool starts.

I just wanna go........
We were going to head down on the 27th...take a day at Sea World (found 30 dollar tickets) goof off at the lesser attractions and then hit WDW starting the first. Stupid me was thinking maybe the crowds would be gone home by then. I know between Christmas and New Years is like a deathwish LOL
I just dont think I should take the kids out of school for a week in Feb. to go then although our last two trips were then. But we were with the schol group. My oldest had a dr's excuse for the week

The first couple days of January will be hell. The last couple days of that week in March will be hell. It's a tossup.

yes Im crazy I guess. I wasnt even thinking Easter...but when Jaw called from work saying " Im ready to go now when can we do it ' I started trying to figure things out. Wonder if my two oldest could manage to get "sick' at the same time.

I was there Easter week once and had the best time.............'course, I was also there Christmas week and had the best time. If you know what you're doing, you can avoid most of the people except for at AK. That place gets SO crowded. And at closing anywhere.

our only other time we had thought about going was for 4yo's 5th bday but guess what..(no not chicken butts) her bday is 7/2 not gonna happen then for sure !!

Yes...........so cool. That's where Margaritaville was. VERY crowded, nowhere to park, they had the coolest miniature golf there. We were going to come back with the kids and never did. Tig had another ginormous nachos. Her leftovers wouldn't fit in her to go box. I had the best salad, it had sugared pecans in it. Yummy!

We are thinking about going there for a few days next year. There is a Magicquest place there too. My son did a small version of it ath Great Wolf Lodge this weekend and had a great time.
