Evening! We are home from our camping vacation and yes, it is 2 days early. We unfortunately found out the hard way that until we move out of the God forsaken city we will never go on another vacation again!

Last night we were sitting around the campfire with friends having a grand old time. When we left and was heading back to our site I saw I had a voice mail. It was the local police department letting me know that....ready for this......there were kids caught at our house! Yes, again kids came into our home while we were gone. And the kicker.....it was one of the same kids as before!

I swear to God if they don't lock this kid up this time I'm gonna be some kind of mad!

So, needless to say we were not comfortable staying so we headed home. I hate my life sometimes!

Did they ever go to court for the last time? How are they getting in? and most of all , now I think they should start holding the parents responsible!!

WARNING TMI!!!!

I need PMS opinions. I still feel like doggy doo. DH wants me to go to the clinic and get checked out. I think there is no need. I have been living up to my "misread" name for a week--I'll spare you further details-- and started having terrible stomach cramping yesterday. Bad bloating and gas and chills. I think I just have a stomach bug. No fever. I am keeping fluids in enough to not get dehydrated.

I think if I go it will be a waste of $100 (out of pocket), and hour of my time that I just want to be here in bed, and they will just tell me to drink liquids, BRAT diet as I can tolerate it and rest until it passes.

Do you all see any reason for me to go see a dr at this point?

I just don't see that there is a darn thing a dr can do for me but take my money.

Scrappy..sounds like you have gastroenteritis, its when the bad bacteria take over the good bacteria, no fever and makes ya have gas out the (well it would have rhymed) !! eat yogurt with live cultures it will eat the bad stuff and put it back into shape, also stay away from gatorade...it can make diarrhea worse....

I know my vitals! We have a bp machine and thermometer. all in normal--except i am no longer full of **** like normal!!! Ain't none left!


4's that if AWFUL. I think the next time you want to go away you need to see if you can rent some dogs to stay at your place. Big, mean ones. And sue the pants off the parents. That is just ridculous.

Scrappy, there is also an OTC med we give a lot called Culturelle (Lactobacillus). It's supposed to help your GI tract get back to normal. If you're not vomiting, staying hydrated, no fever, no blood, B/P is good, I would save myself the $100 as well.
But if anything seems abnormally abnormal, please go.

OMG Phors! I'd wig! What is wrong with that child?

Scrappy, I'm not a doctor, but I would recommend an urgent care center or a call to the doc before you do an ER....Friday night with those symptoms mean a looooooooooonnnnnggg wait. You may, however, have something more serious. Watch your temperature carefully and remember that much of your liquids come from foods. Pinch the skin of a place with some extra flesh (easy to find on me, but some people use the back of their hand) If the skin stays puckered, you're getting dehydrated. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to give the doc a call to ask when you should get worried.

Scraps - Hope you feel better soon. I have no advice, b/c I never go to the doctor . Hopefully it is just your system "flushing" itself out.

So, the house is great. Bought a new TV yesterday and have already returned it to Best Buy. Just stopped working. I checked it out on Consumer Reports and everything. Maybe we just got a lemon . I need to start deciding on doctors and dentists and I am just putting it off. I should also start cleaning up the piles of "stuff" that still hasn't found a home.
