No...although they deserved it. My boss has issues. I was supposed to work half day today but she couldn't stand it since I'm salaried she would have to pay me for the whole day...she practically begged me to take the whole day off....lucky for her I hate the place most of the time so I agreed.


This is the same woman that panics whenever I take a day off...because according to her, I'm the only one that knows how to do everything. Whatever.


I'm just happy because I eat lard.

I have some you can borrow, Pixie, but it usually diminishes throughout the day. By about 5:00 it will be all gone.

So the twit at the doctor's office called my mom back at 4 yesterday. Mom's surgery is next Wednesday. They're doing a lumpectomy, not a mastectomy. Mom said the twit was very subdued on the phone and just made the appointment. So the behind whoppin' is on hold for now.

I am keeping your mom in my thoughts. My mom had a scare a few years ago. The doctor told her she was 99% sure she had cancer from how the xrays looked. She had a double stereotactic biopsy. Thankfully it was benign, but I think I can understand the emotions you and her must be going through.


I still think a whoopin is in order..just saying...people should not be allowed to speak to others like this woman did.

Lara, that's good news. I'm praying as hard as I can for her. As for the twit, when the doc comes out after the surgery to let you know that everything went well, tell him then. Mom won't be there, surgery will be over, and you can let him know how much it upset your mom. That's just crazy it happened in the first place. That woman needs a big ole attitude adjustment.
