Nothing really...I'm supposed to be getting the shower, getting ready and cleaning the house. I have done NOTHING so far today.

Atta' girl! I have done nothing as well and I need to drive to AC later. Let's see, pool time (so I'm not pasty tonight), shower, laundry, cleaning, gym...NOT gonna happen!

Another installment of Caro and work.
Yesterday I got an email from my supervisor around 7:30 saying she was taking 2 hours of overtime away from me because it wasn't approved. She
asked if another supervisor had approved it. Next time I feel the need to work OT, I need to call her or email her so we can discuss it.

After going to talk to Lyle (union steward) once again, I emiled her back. I told her yes, it had been approved by another supervisior. We had some very hot parts we need to get out and this had come about right at the end of the shift. I agreed that I should of talked to her first.
In the past, if we had hot parts to get out, we just did it. Never got the OT approved by our supervisor, it was just understood. I guess for the next 3 weeks, while Jody is my temporary supervisor, I'll do it her way.
The union steward says to keep documenting. I'm up to 5 typed pages now. It's bordering on harrassment and I'm not the only one it's happening too. He is getting ethics to come n soon and see whats' up.

I considered a bit of pool time and some laps, but then I walked outside, and saw all the leaves on the bottom, which would mean cleaning it first before I even got the chance to do a single lap. So...forget the pool time. I ran the filter, and I'll vacuum it some other time.

Caro - Sorry she is giving you such a hard time, but you are totally going the right way at it and documenting everything. And as much as it sucks, just keep doing it her way for the next 3 weeks but keep Lyle informed of any goings on that are unprofessional. Hope things get better.
