And I also got a lovely sandwich that had too much ketchup and mayo on it, which I proceded to drip huge glops of on my shirt.

Well ladies headed to bed, have to be up in 7 hours for my 15 hour day. Lets all pray the rain holds off until 1:00am tomorrow night or starts and finishes by 9:00 this morning.

Hi all!

Someone asked that I post the pictures of my backsplash when it was done. I hate to say I forget who it was (I am sooo sorry). Here are some pics...

Okay here are the latest. Tomorrow it will be done (except for a small hole in the ceiling from the old light fixture).

Knowing the routine and participating in the routine are two different things. I know how you feel though, Sunday is my day to be on the go all day long at home. DH takes a nap on the couch while I am trying to get everything done that I don't have time to during the week. Sometimes I want to go over and smack him in head. Just once I would LOVE if he would even offer to help with the laundry. I'd probably turn him down, but just asking would be a nice touch.

I can sooooo relate to that, around here the DH says sunday is the day he does nothing!! not a good topic for me, that is a rant topic

So, I am a member of a cruise board that I really only use when we go on a cruise, so not too often. Well we are going on Norweigian in October, so I have been lurking there to gather info. I didn't go there for about a week or two, then when I went back last week a bunch of the posters had been banned! Not for anything outrageous. Actually it started with a couple of people and noone can figure out why they were banned. So when people started questioning the banning, they got banned. Very Weird! Fortunately an alternative board exists where we have gathered. But can you imagine if all of a sudden people here got banned for no reason?

So, got some bad news. My mother's biopsy results came back, it was malignant (breast cancer). I'm at work so I'm trying to keep it together. They'll operate in the next few weeks and then to either radiation therapy or chemo.

Anyway, they got it really early....so I'm trying to concentrate on that. Sorry to be a downer.

so soory to hear that, will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't tell you guys yet. My MIL tried to off me, I'm for sure not going to make it in November now and to top off the last few days we left a load of sheets and towels at the laundromat tonight. Oh and it's been so humid even Myster and I are snipping at each other for lack of sleep.

MIL - Her animals have fleas. So ok treat the animals and bomb the rooms. She forgot I was home. I had a migraine so bad I was throwing up but didn't smell anything. I figured it was just because I hadn't had a migraine that bad in a long time.

November - Just found out my immigration costs are going to almost triple. They are raising the prices of all the submissions.

have had a long day, went out after work shopping for school stuff for my DD, had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, I just caught up on the thread -- off to have a good evening

Hiya!

Got a voicemail from my mom. It said she was calling to check on me. Let's see, last time she saw me I was still in bed from postop and that was, gee, what, nearly 6 weeks ago maybe? Then she called once to tell me to find a toy for her sister's grandkids at Universal, so she knew I was out, but didn't know I was still having big issues because didn't ask. And that was still nearly 4 weeks ago.

Last night I had a dream that she came to visit unexpectedly and when I went to give her a hug, she tackled me and I laughed and said "What's this?" and she said, "I'm just SO happy to see you!"

Pathetic, huh? I am such a baby.
