There must be a name for people who go for kitchens. I've heard that they're not bad, but you really have to watch not to get burned.


I am a grouch right now!!! How can my husband be so clueless? Don't answer that as there really is no answer. So he's on day 3 of no job and pretty much doesn't have anything going on yet except looking for another job, which he assures me he is doing. He's happy to have this time, so it's not as if he's as depressed as he was when he had his crappy job. So why does he think he can pretty much do what he wants, when he wants. If Jake needs to be brought to camp, why is it assumed that I'm doing it? He knows the drill on Friday mornings and knows that I have somewhere to go, but he just is in his own world. I should add that when his contracts get going he will be busy and has made it clear that he won't have much free time then, so why not try to help out now? I know, not a major thing overall, but still an irritation. By the way, I got mad and guess who's bringing Jake to camp?

I think I'd like to crawl into my hole today. And I still have the lurking headache and I broke down and took a perk for it.

When he lost a job years ago it was a different story and that time he was really thrown for a loop. This time, however, he was relieved when it happened. I really do hope he's spending lots of time looking for a job (I do think he is).

Knowing the routine and participating in the routine are two different things. I know how you feel though, Sunday is my day to be on the go all day long at home. DH takes a nap on the couch while I am trying to get everything done that I don't have time to during the week. Sometimes I want to go over and smack him in head. Just once I would LOVE if he would even offer to help with the laundry. I'd probably turn him down, but just asking would be a nice touch.

So, I am a member of a cruise board that I really only use when we go on a cruise, so not too often. Well we are going on Norweigian in October, so I have been lurking there to gather info. I didn't go there for about a week or two, then when I went back last week a bunch of the posters had been banned! Not for anything outrageous. Actually it started with a couple of people and noone can figure out why they were banned. So when people started questioning the banning, they got banned. Very Weird! Fortunately an alternative board exists where we have gathered. But can you imagine if all of a sudden people here got banned for no reason?

Dinner sounded delish...I'll be over next week....7 pm? I'll bring the wine for after the kiddies go to bed. We can watch BB latenight on Showtime.

Yes, days like today make me glad I cut all my hair off a couple of weeks ago.

So does anyone else's stomach clench in terror when you can't find this thread quickly? I always get a momentary "they poofed the thread" thought until I slow down and read again.

It certainly will be amusing. The more I think about it, the more I think I'm happy Kail stays (at least until ED is gone, because she'll go after him). I was happy with Eric, Jameka, or Dustin getting it last night, but I'm happiest Dustin got it. I wonder who he will put up...I really have no idea. I hope ED and Amber.
