Lara - That's great about November! I hope it gets approved. And I really like Eric too....he has a great personality and is pretty cute too. Good luck at the meeting. I'm explaining the provisions of FAS 157 (accounting pronouncement) to one of my coworkers as thrilling as that is, so I feel your pain.

Lara - I like Jen more now too, after seeing that piece on her. She is beginning to grow on me. ED is doing the opposite but maybe he'll be off his power trip this week. Dinner sounded delish...I'll be over next week....7 pm? I'll bring the wine for after the kiddies go to bed. We can watch BB latenight on Showtime.

Tim, so far, I really like Eric...hope America doesn't screw him (my DH's name is Eric, so I'm biased).


So I just submitted my travel request for November As soon as it's signed by the powers that be, I can book my trip.

Eric doesn't seem too bad, but a bit cocky. Yes, he is cute.

In for a quick moment before I run DD to gymnastics and run some errands. Was just talking to a friend and said something about DD being online. She was going on and on about how she just wasn't sure she would ever let her kids online (they are 3 and newborn) because of all of the bad stuff you hear. She said she doesn't even go on chat rooms or boards cause she thinks it would be creepy to talk to people she doesn't know in RL. I said well, I have a group of friends who I talk to online who I have never met who are great. She says "Well, I guess I'm just not that trusting." Then, all of a sudden, she had to go.
I was like, WHAT! I wanted to say, you know you have to trust to make friends in RL or online. There is no difference, except instead of chatting in person, you are chatting through the computer.
If she hadn't hung up the phone, I would have told her that I don't consider you all any different from her or my other friends. AAAARGH, she really made me mad. Talk about ignorance.

Vent over! Gotta go get DD to the gym. BBL

Yes, days like today make me glad I cut all my hair off a couple of weeks ago.

ED annoyed me from the beginning, but it's getting worse. I think his fall will be pretty ammusing...it always is when they think they're the kingpin and then plummet to earth.

So does anyone else's stomach clench in terror when you can't find this thread quickly? I always get a momentary "they poofed the thread" thought until I slow down and read again.

I obviously totally agree. I think it's so neat to meet people this way and I consider all the PMSers friends of mine, even the ones I haven't met in person. I tell my kids that a person needs to be careful what information is given out to a net friend and they need to meet in public at first, but that's all true about other friends.

I need to eat a quick bite, call an Rx in, and then go to Sam's Club (hopefully I'll get to that). I really want to go to sleep...my head is still hurting a bit and the percocet hit kind of hard, I guess because I haven't had one for awhile.

I have to go to get my laser then get Jenna ready for practice, the to softball for 3 hours then to the fair.

Sounds like fun huh? At least I can spend my time in the blackjack tent while her and her girlfriends are hitting the rides.
