hello lovelies! DDs are back to school today. YIPPEE! Now if I can survive the next week and a half until preschool starts.

Lara, I may need to talk to you at some point. DD (who had the lap last Sept. because of a band around her small intestine) is still having intermittent abdominal pain. I believe I've posted about it before. Anyway, saw the GI yesterday for a followup and he doesn't believe it is diet related. So, they took blood, did a stool sample and we are going to have yet another Upper GI with small bowel follow through. This will be the first since her surgery. If all this is negative, then we start scoping. That will be new territory for us, so if it happens, I'll be calling you.

I agree with you Lara. Even though the romantic aspect would probably do wonders for my marriage, I just don't want him to come. Let's make this a girls trip to start of with and then we'll go from there! This makes me think of the movie Cocktail! I love that movie!

OK i have already heard back from the principal she is going to work on it and get back to me Gotta love going to the top. I try to avoid it because thats what the other people are for. The principal is well known for being fair and certain in the way she handles things. Looks like Im getting what I wanted for T after all.

Well, I woke up with a migraine and my migranal didn't cut it, and since I can't take any other migraine meds..........took a couple of those L pills I can never remember the name of. Hmmm..........wth are those things called again? The pink ones.

Now the kid has been picked up, I can take anything I want. And I remember I didn't drink the wine cooler T gave me when I left her yet, although I was going to, didn't.........and I could have that. I could drink dh's coronas if I want.

I just had a talk with him about his diet. He said in front of the kids he was tired of switching over to just fowl instead of beef (ground turkey mostly he was complaining about). I said I had already been babying him through his starches and he did not need to go back to beef. He's also drinking entirely too much. He said he bought baby coronas so he's downsizing.........I said yeah, but he drinks more than one at a time so that doesn't help. So since he brought it up in front of the kids I talked about it with them there too...........at first Thing 1 agreed on the beef until he heard me saying we need to get the diet under control to keep you around as long as we can, then he told his dad he should become vegetarian. I told dh he needs to stick around for the boys, and he looked at them and said "now don't do that to me" and Thing 1 gave a puppy dog look and he laughed and said "especiallly when he does that".......and I said "It's hard, but you have to try your best". So that went well. We'll see if it really makes a difference in what he eats/drinks though.

Anyway, It's good that you had what sounds like a reasonable conversation about his diet. I hope it helps.

Shug, at least wait until 5 to drink. Yeah, I know, it's 5 o'clock somewhere... but seriously, being drunk this early is not a good thing. It will guarantee a hangover (or puking) before you ever make it to bed. If you wanna scream and yell, I'm home. Might make you feel better.

I want to go to Tahiti. Theres this nice little place with bungalows that are out over the water. And teh water is crystal blue....check it out. Imagine spending a week here with your SO , might make a lot of people want to go shopping though. It would also be fun with some PMSers.

Ugh. Last day of medevil torture camp. Had to make the dreaded call to the ortho's office to inform him it didn't help. Nope, not in the least. Waiting for that call back now. NOT a call I wanted to make. And I got to ask for pain meds on top of it. My stomach is in knots.

Maybe I should have Myster call him. He's quit drinking all together now (not that the odd one would hurt him. He just finds it easier not to have anything.) I doubt he can help with the beef though. Monday started a new day of better eating here too.
