TEVA!!! I AM SHOCKED!!!


Of course that is because I was doing badly with having my last one at my 6 wk post delivery appt of DS.

I'm back from Richmond didja miss me? Huh? Huh? We had so much fun! Of course we hit the Three Dog Bakery and got treats for the boys, I hit a sale at Saks and got the cutest Coach bag that if Dh ever finds out what I spent I'm dead meat. Of course, ML kept telling me BUY IT BUY IT. I think she was designer shopping vicariously through my credit card I just have to make sure Dh doesn't see the next statement Then we went to Build a Bear and made bears and by then 4 hours had gone by. After all that, I even drove home in big city rush hour traffic with only one xanny and didn't have a panic attack!! I was pretty anxious, but no panic attacks! What did I miss here?

Guys, I need some help here. A friend of mine has a real tool for a DH. He is def emotionally abusive, has slapped their 8yo across the face and left a mark once, that she told me about, and I think has the potential for more violence. He is a controlling unDISfriendly word. He does not exactly work. Supposedly he sells real estate, but since he doesn't make any money, his dad pretty much provides all their financial support. She is going to nursing school and will be done and employable by May 2008. In the meantime she doesn't feel like they can get out of there or away from him because she doesn't know what to do for money. She also right now is stuck on keeping her kids in their house and their private school.

In the meantime, days and days go by and her kids are exposed to this jerk and getting their ideas of what a woman should put up with as well as how to be a husband etc. Their DD will not wear anything feminine at all, will not do ANYTHING with her hair, etc. She adn my DD are friends and she tells my DD that she doesn't want to be pretty. Being a girl in her opinion has no benefit. She and her mom have a terribly adversarial relationship.

I have told her I will do research as far as welfare benefits etc, but I am hitting dead ends. I have thought about starting a thread on this, but am undecided. Do any of you know where I could start to gather info? She can't do it because he tracks her computer usage.

It's very unlike me, but since I bought Alyssa her Coach purse for her birthday and my DH asked me why I didn't buy myself one (and I told him how much they cost and he about ), I've been thinking about going to the outlets and buying one... I am so not an expensive purse person, and the timing for one is not exactly the best, but once I get an idea into my head...

Make sure it's a big enough one so you can hook your foot in it so you won't have to drag it behind you anymore.

Red- One time when I was at my sisters house, my neice called me into the bathroom to wipe her. I am on wiping duty when I am around Any way she had pu pu'd (her term for it) and asked if I wanted to see.

CALL YOUR GYN. Do it tomorrow. I have two sisters who have had cervical cancer already, and one of them is dying from it. They both got it when they were under 30, so don't assume it won't happen to you.

I love coach bags btw I get mine at macy's with the card and get the 20% off, I found out you could on a shopping trip when I bought my last one.

DM3 that is a tough situation. It doesn't quite seem like a situation for protective services (which would open a whole can of worms for HER too) but some intervention might be helpful. Does the FIL know and approve of the jerk? Maybe she could talk to her inlaws about helping to provide financial support while she separates from her dh and finishes her education. He needs to go to counselling alone, then bring her in, then bring the kids in for family counselling, THEN they might be able to work through it?
